abhinav, 20 Feb 2014Camera is not powerful as Samsung galaxy grand low light ph... moreI've used Grand and I have Mega 6.3, and those cameras are both terribly lousy compared to Lumia 720's camera which is so much better it's not even funny.
If you think 1080p movie recording really looks like 1080p then you'd be shocked when you see the detail from real 1080p quality video (try blu ray movies.. shot with real, proper video cameras). 1080p in phones is a joke, it's just a waste of bandwidth / file size. 720p is more than enough.
Poor Facebook app? You must be kidding, because the Facebook integration with the Windows Phone OS is so seamless it's scary, and it's much better than in Android. And WhatsApp works perfectly fine.
As you mentioned, the red color is awesome, and I'll add that the yellow is awesome as well, it looks amazing, like a vivid matte popsicle :). There have never been better colored phones than the Lumia 720 models. 920 and 1020 don't look nearly as nice.
And yes, great battery life, even comparable to my Mega 6.3.

Nokia lumia 720 .. with Black update >>
Pros :
1.Great Battery than before>>
with 2G(2days)
with 3G(1.2days)
2.Reduced heating of device ( say Nil in my case )
3. just a refresh feel of device after update to black
4. nice camera
cons :
4. my phone got hanged after i double tapped to unlock and after i pressed the password ( screen hanged )which never happened to me earlier ..
5. Screen freez occured for the 1st time after my purchase on 1.1.14
6. no background theme ( always black )
7. Music player seems to be very average in design and features
8. during the play of music , when the phone gets locked .. and you double tap to unlock the phone ... you wont see any wallpaper which you placed , you will see only a black screen there ...
9. many improvements needed in OS with features and aesthetics .....
10. waiting for OS wp 8.1 to satisfy the users , as what they need and dream from Lumia devices or atleast match android .
11. many basic features which a phone needs is primarily lagging in this Os /
The Best part is the Brand NOKIA*

Camera is not powerful as Samsung galaxy grand low light photography is ok ok not ultra clear and grand is better than 720 disadvantages
poor WhatsApp poor Facebook app 720p recording small flash
Advantage is better battery than grand and red colour is awesome

Playable without many lag, but several times force closed, tried it on Lumia 520 several months ago, I thought it was the Six-Guns problem. Lumia 720 has better hardware, I think it would It fine, but maybe not as fine as 1 GB RAM Lumia.

My Nokia Lumia 720 bought from India on November 2013 and bring to here in Saudi Arabia because I am working here. After one month use one day my phone total hang and can see only blue color in screen. I visit nearest nokia service center and they update the software and charge 100 riyal because gurantee is not apply out of India. Then after 3 week phone suddenly beocme same problem..only blue color can see and nothing can open. so what to do..I d'nt..and i am not ready to spen more money to this phone. is this common problem in all Lumia..just tell me anybody know about this.

sam, 18 Feb 2014how can i ack up my contacts?So long as you have Microsoft live ID ie hotmail or any other mail address that you use your contacts will be synchronized automatically...and the contacts restore when you set the mailbox of your live ID
