the major drawback of windows phone is not its app unavaialability but the features that android can offer over the WP like easy wifi file sharing,sharing music & file through hike and whatsapp,android provides us alot of control on the files and items we share among us but windows restricts us and we have limited choice there,so till the time windows soesn't provide us that feature it'll be only liked by people who use that feature less or can compromise with them.i am myslef usig lumia 730,bit disappointed that i cant save audio messages and send mp3 files and also unable to send files via hike

Eclair (2.0-2.1)
Froyo (2.2-2.2.3)
Gingerbread (2.3-2.3.7) from this upgrade the android starts gain popularity
Honeycomb (3.0-3.2.6)
Icecream sandwich (4.0-4.0.4) this upgrade made android more user friendly
Jelly bean (4.1-4.3.1)
Kitkat (4.4-4.4.4)
Lollipop (5.0)
Now let me tel about windows phone upgrade
WP 7
WP 7.8
WP 8
WP 8.1( from this update the os gain more popularity and bcame more user friendly)
In conclusion android took 7 upgrades to get the popularity ( alpha (1.0) to gingerbread (2.3-2.3.7))
Where as windows phone os took only 4 upgrades to gain popularity (WP 7 to WP 8.1) ..
Also WP 10 will b released in few months.. Which will give much more rich feature to the user... So with less in updates and less in years of development windows phone bcame popular...and will become superior to Android with in 1 or 2 years...

AnonD-307103, 12 Jan 2015i am confused regarding battery backup of this phone, yeste... moreAny online app especially social media app will run in the background and continuously activate 3g/wifi to check new messages/updates and is bound to consume battery even in standby mode. One hour of whatsapp usage and battery has reduced less than 10% which seems perfectly normal.
I am getting 36-48 hrs battery life in normal usage in wifi without games/music

any other class 10 high speed card should also work easily

i am confused regarding battery backup of this phone, yesterday night at 2 o'clock i removed the charger then battery was 69%,i woke up at 8:45 am and the battery was stilll 69% then i started using whatsapp through my mobile data and now it is 9:50 the battery came to 56%,is that much battery whatsapp drinks,or is there some fault wid my mobile,experienced users plss reply and help me.thanks in advance
