Dear wp8_lvr, u mean to say when incoming call is received on Skype there will be no notification tone which Skype has as default. In android and on desktop computer Skype logo with tone is shown, but in my case no Skype logo and no tone, phone only vibrates and shows picture of caller, like regular call.

looks like some batches comes with defective battery which causing less backup.. its totally my assumption. because most of 730 users claiming they getting more than a day battery backup.
if possible then try to replace your battery from nokia care. before that just try soft reset 2-3 times n then check your battery life.
for soft reset just press volume downk key n power key at same time for 10-15secs. phone vibrates n restarts. it doesn't delete anything. so do it n check your backup for next 2days...
also if you are heavy user
then battery definitely drain.. its common for all...
one another thing I noticed from last 2years that every new buyer of any lumia complains alot about battery drainage. but as time goes on battery backup automatically improve.
looks like its common behavior of nokia batteries.
if you check every lumia forum then you can observe that not any old user complaints about battery. only new users complaints.
foe ex. I am active from last 2yrs on all these forums.. n when 520 n 720 was launched every new buyers complaints alot about battery drainage. but now you comments as new buyers on these old lumia forums directly start to bash your comments that you are trolling n all that..
ps- looks like nokia batteries has this behavior. in initial days drains fast but with time it automatically improve.
if you not satisfy then try to replace your battery.

I can guess Microsoft can provide better h/w mobiles with wp10 is soon. So u can have wp10 on ur 720 with update. By leaving 720 and sold it for 5-6k to others u will loss ur money so its ur choice now.....

Anonymous, 24 Nov 2014i want to buy 730 but the microsoft launched tbeir phone i ... moreyes L535 is cheap RS 8,700/only..i think microsoft should reduce the price of L730..Though this phone is high in demand but remember on 26nov we can buy L535 @ very cheapest price..hence both the phones have 70%similarites..L535 's biggest advantage is its 5inch screen..in india many mass area people will go for it for sure.

thx wp8lvr bt m so unhappy with my lumia730 battery perfomance.it doesnt last even a single day.i have stop all background apps and my battery saver is always on.my frnds canvas 2 has much more battery lyf dan myL 730.my bros htc 616 have double battery back up dan mine so.why shouldnt i go 4android
