People r giving very much respons of lag of l730 but u r taking so much side for it. May I know the reason, why?

2.Don't connect your mob to computer.. It will slow down your mobile Speed....And you will get hardware problem too...

AnonD-321602, 06 Nov 2014I identified this two weeks before n asked the same. But no... moresame here. phone is super smooth bt identified these 2 issues till now:
1. lumia selfie app is producing mirror images.
2. intermittent screen flickering in some apps like lumia help + tips.
these are software issues and most likely will be corrected in future update. but overall, this phone performs really well and looks really stylish. :) i admit that wp os still lacks several functionalities offered by android but its a welcome change and for sure will become better and better as it grows.

As u o... morefeeling sad for you... few devices are really got defective pieces here.. its a hardware so their is very much chances of defects. such cases happens everywhere with every company devices.

about few issues here.. screen flickering is definitely OS issue.. even few 930 n 920 also has flickering issue. so we have to wait for fix from ms.
purple tint is both os n hardware related issue. 930 also had same purple tint issue n microsoft fixed it with another fixing update.
mirror image is I think only selfie app issue.
about signal reception issue. in my opinion it is totally regional related issue. I mean in india cellular signals are not totally stable. we can't blame os or any mobile phone for such issue. it is totally carrier side issue. n mostly all dual sim phones issue. even my old Micromax android dual sim phone n my brother's Moto G(dual sim) also have same frequent signal dropping issue. it is very common issue for us(indians).
because our carrier signals are not strong.
on gsmarena forums 99% of active users are of india n few pakistan, sri lanka, n africa. all are emerging countries n very money caring ppls.
if you visit wpcentral n other sites where mostly american n european users are active n if you ask them about signal reception issues in their are then you can't find such issues from these countries because they have very strong carrier signals n call deoping is very very rare issue for them and mostly they not use dual sim phones.
All dual sim phones are mostly affect by such signal drop issue.

Dear all friends,
Each & every manufacturer of mobile phones...when they produce & sell in the market. Per 500-1000 mobiles 10-50 pieces are there with some & some hardware or software related queries(my personal view)...it doesnt mean that any perticular model of any company is not good...
After sales service or replacement(if needed)must be good thats what we customers need.
And here, for lumia 730...world leader is the manufacturer...they will surely look after our queries.
So, be cool...and trust microsoft. L730 is the best mobile phone with advanced technology.

if you moved your apps to SD Card then its necessary to use class 10 or minimum class 6 sd card.
check your sd card 1st. if its class 4 then its causing for hanging.
so don't blame os here.. even android also has same issues. its totally related to which class sd card you use.
because of these reasons apple iphones not comes with sd card support.

Guys! This is to all who r using this phone especially photography/camera experts.
I'm using this phone for 2-3 weeks with no issues except following doubt abt the back camera.
The pics frm my back camera r grainy and captures lot of noise. I also have Nokia X6 which is having 5mp camera with carl zeiss lens and it captures amazing pics but not satisfied with L730's camera. Took many shots by altering different settings but not a single pic was close to my X6 clarity. Finally did one exercise to compare both. Took pic of a same scene with X6 n L730, transfd both pics to laptop n cross-checked the properties. I found below significant differences.
1) In X6 the dpi was 300 whereas in case of L730 it was 72. Is dpi has anything do with picture clarity?
2) The max pixels i got in Lumia was 6.1 mp that too with 4:3 ratio and i don't understand why Nokia is claiming L730 as 6.7 mp.
Please guys help me in the camera part as i really don't understand whether its problem with phone or not.

1) And further by the way Google CHROME app is available on Store .. Just check it..
2)if sme1's sd card is resulting sme kind of hang's on the device thn it's suggested to take sme more money frm their pockets & buy a class 10 sd card for bst result...
3)for camera i cn't cmmnt n frm Network prblm i too am suffrng frm :-/
so no more advice at the end .. :O ;)
