My 730's battery gives poor battery backup than 520.

Take it that way.
I don't have any personal benefit in promoting 520 over 730. So don't think that I m promoting any phone over other.
I m very much happy with my 730. Because of its screen, camera, and its fluidic experience.
But obviously this issues are not acceptable from such a big company. Battery backup is really not acceptable.
My 520 had also heating issues initially but solved after Lumia amber. Battery backup also improved after that.

Listen all nokia boyz.... lumia 730 is not only smartphone that end of road, understood!! It has also so many lacks due to microsoft windows 8.1 reason. Here r so many negatives comments also posting by users who use l730 in past some days. Don't be fool & be cool & plz...plz...plz... do not promote any brand & let the peoples decide what they have to do. Angus Frazer, gud bye.

in my opinion all laptops in now days have inbuilt wifi support.. just check your laptop has inbuilt wifi support or not....
if not then buy external router. don't waste more money if your laptop has wifi...

- youtube hd (by ideacorp)
- file downloader
these 3 apps are best n download anything you want even in background n save file anywhere you want(in sd or internal storage)
for more apps find yourself in store...
also video players(to play all format videas n movies even dual audio mkv movies)
- moliplayer
- ccplayer
for file transfer via wifi same like xender(flash transfer) n SuperBeam on android
- easy transfer

Anyway I write what I experienced. And to b honest, my 520's battery performance is far better than 730...
Its possible that my Lumia is not special edition but your 520 is faulty. Replace ur battery.

about tether using nokia pc suit... its doubtful because I never tried it before.. but in my opinion it is not possible because os itself not support tethering.

how is camera quality ?
