Actually I own both GS2 and Lumia 800, Lumia 800's battery drained really fast.. even it's updated to the latest patch. Furthermore there're some odd issues in Lumia 800.. eg, i. the Nokia Maps isn't available in all regions, you better check whether it's available in yours at the windows phone page.. as well as other desired apps.. (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsphone/en-US/market.aspx); ii. no file manager to organize files and documents, unless putting files to the Skydrive, I don't know how to use the Office mobile to access any exist documents, but the Skydrive way needs data service charge if not under wifi coverage. Becides, it makes you unable to attach any documents (.doc .xls .pdf ..etc) when writing emails to someone, I don't know it's Windows Phone's matter or just Lumia's; iii. no build-in compass app, though I could open the diagnostics tool's magnetmeter(dial ##634#), it couldn't act as a compass.. Of couse, there're many compass apps could be downloaded in the Marketplace, however some of them aren't accurate; some of them are accurate but ask for privacy permissions such as owner id, location service, etc.. that makes no different with androids' apps. HTC's Windows phone have a built in compass which is much more handy..; iv. it doesn't support Flash nor Silverlight (very limited) webpages;.. In conclusion, I'd rather suggest 701 or N8 over Lumia if you'd like stay with Nokia's family. Otherwise, choose GS2, at least it could display Flash 11 contents. Perhaps the Lumia would be much more usable and powerful in the future, but not now.

And moreover its giving not even 12 hours battery backup.. Instead of lumia please go HTC Radar its far better than Lumia Series. Because it having more than 480 hours Standby wen lumia is 400 hours. More than 10 hours talktime wen lumia is 6 hours moreover no issues n its updated with all king bugs. And since its having front facing camera we can do vedio chats as well .when we talk bout display is not soo greenish like Amoled. Its SLCD which erupts Natural Colours.. Only one stepdown at Processor its just 1 ghz That's enough because its 100% related Screen resolution n multitasking.. 1.4 Ghz its required for More pixels screen That's all and That's it..
Secondly Samsung galaxy S2 best but I don suggest Android beacuse they don have Standered Parameters. Its used cheepest to higher.. Moreover android Reviewed its not secured. They want to retain their monopolized Market.

definitley a samsung galaxy s2. If you compare the two you can see that nokia is still lacking in technology compared to samsung.
Samsung galaxy s II has a dual core processer where nokia hasnt even reached that yet. Android is also much userfriendly then the windows 7 software.
But seriously recommend you compare the two, and see the major differences. I am a proud owner of an sII also, and love it!

I was really looking forward to the return of Nokia as well as Windows on the mobile market and though it couldnt get any better - Lumia 800. Got it and unfortunately it is too late to return or exchange. 1st the phone randomly hangs up phone calls. 2 unable to send or receive vCards. 3 Unable to attach files to emails or MMS (only photos). Settings are hard to navigate, takes ages to find something. 4. Dialer is nearly useless (have to manually look up a contact). Keyboard settings - it takes 2 minutes to change anything. list keeps going on and on and on... I am still very enthusiastic and looking forward to Microsoft addressing the million issues with their OS>

Hi, I've had this mobile for 1 week now and I can honestly say I'm delighted, having made the upgrade from Nokia X6. Updated to latest software and having absolutely no issue with battery - switched on yesterday morning, checked mail several times during the day, fair amount of internet use, about 10 mins of sat nav and lots of viewing of pictures, phone has been on 26 hours now and still showing 62% (20+ hours remaining) OS is fresh and great to use, camera superb, and the handset itself just looks amazing. I can highly recommend this mobile.

xenonmobile, 28 Feb 2012hello everyone, i just use this phone, i bought it 2 days a... moreonly headsets made with american 3,5 mm is ok. made for iphone and blackberry etc. ordinary headphones with 3,5 mm is also ok but then no mic. you can of coirse go bluetooth, for example samsung hs3000 and attach good headphones. but wait for the new nokia bh221 or bh-221 were you can attach good headphones to bluetooth.

Everything about the Lumia 800 is awesome but the only thing that annoys me is that when i tap the end button to end a call it takes time to do so..... and after it does it either gets hanged or restarts...!! This is a serious issue about the phone..... Anyone facing the same problem?? The people at Nokia says it's the software's (Windows 7.5 Mango)fault...
Please HELP!!!!!!
