Nokia is really copying all the soon to be discarded designed of iphone.
Nokia would really become a laughing stock in the markets, if they just continues picking up the dustbins of iphone in future.

Nokia have copied everything that's wrong with the iPhone - the alien 'micro' simcard, closed OS, non-accessible battery and a dependence on third-party software, disallowing drag-and-drop. Add to that similar specifications from a 2010 smartphone and you've got yourself a poor phone.
However, this phone actually looks and feels amazing. It would make a worthy opponent to the HTC Desire.

sunny, 08 Feb 2012I have used almost every kind of smartphone from every kind... moreplease tell me as a user of iphone 4, how lumia 800 perform on heaphones, in terms of loudness? is loud enough? does it have dolby headphone on-off like nokia n9? i listen to nokia n9 with headphones and it sound very good, but a little bit under iphone 4. SO PLEASE TELL ME SOMEONE COMPETENT HOW LUMIA 800 IS FOR MUSIC MANIACS LIKE ME WICH WANT REAL POWER IN HEADPHONES?

Great phone with amazing function and also faster thn any andriod fone , one thing i most like is all application is trusted . Thanks nokia for such awesme fone

WP is poor because many many lacks:
- It hasn’t a beautiful and useful
widgets on home screen like in
Symbian Belle - can’t us my Lumia as mass storage
ant transfer to it any documents and
files… I can’t transfer even a pdf file to
Lumia!!! what’s the hell!!! - poor Zune - can’t send files via bluetooth, I can’t
send even a photo via bluetooth!!! - cant force the network to connect only
in 3G mode, this is very useful for me
in Symbian devices, and even in my
S40 device! - can’t download any files or even an
mp3 file using Internet Explorer of WP!
loool - no sleeping screen (time/missed calls,
sms…) like in Symbian devices with
AMOLED screen. - I can’t play randomly all music tracks
or albums in music player without
creating a list! - can’t create a custom profiles and
activate a timed profile - can’t select easily the connection
mode (3G/WLAN) like in Symbian Belle - can’t set a touch screen vibration
when typing on virtual keyboard, this
offer a good touch experience for
Symbian devices - no true multitasking!!! when app is in
background it’s paused!!! - can’t close applications directly from
task manager or close all applications
as in Symbian - In integrated facefook I can’t “like” a
comment! - and the list of WP lacks is much more
long…

by March 2012, USB on-the-go and Skype would be fully available for Nokia N9 with software updating to pr 1.2,
let's hope lumia do follows after a Year with Apollo OS.

1.full flash support.
2.users replaceable battery.
3.should has atleast memory slot or USB on-the-go support for mass storage.
4.should not be on any restricted platform OS.
So, my ranking is 2.5 out of 5 stars for Lumia 800.

This phone is really a speedy gonzalez but at the same time extremely stable and great for people who dont want any hassle with issues. great calling as always with nkia hardware also.

Lumia 800 and very much satisfied with performance.Games are too good on this phone,better than Sony playstation portable.Office applications are two good.Now I am pitty about the performance of my core i7 laptop. !!!!!. Tiles concept are very addictive...once you feel it. You forgets everything. Else. No 1 fusion. Eye candy...

I have used almost every kind of smartphone from every kind of os . I have used xperia arc play neo , s2 , sensation , iPhone 4 lastly 4s. I conclude that this is one excellent phone and its just awsome. So my ranking would be
1- iPhone 4s
2 - xperia arc
3 - lumia 800 . Battery backup is awesome phone runs smoothly. Only problem is some calling issue.

again a big looser by nokia,following are the problems faced in lumia 800:-
1) call does not get disconnect.
2) transferring data like movies takes whole night.
3) poor battery life
4) phone replaced 3 times but still no satisfaction

I got from India and it shows me that mine is up to date .. but i guess is not ! what can i do now ?! any repy :S and i already connected to it to ZUNE :s
