Ahmed, 16 Jan 2012hi, Nokia is bring its latest LUMIA 800 & 710 but ... moreAgree with you...

When Nokia has put a price tag of 30K INR you expect a lot more than what Lunia 800 has to offer. Even after taking the WP limitations into account.. it is still not worth to pay that much.

Of all the whining in your post one and only one is valid: "Not able to end the call for 20 secs"

Moreover, that should be fixed with a software update.

All the rest are well known limitations of WP platform. So no point in trashing Nokia here.

........due to the much restricted window platform OS publics still prefer low end Android fones eg.galaxy y/ ace over both beautiful designed Lumias.
this is the real facts in practical life.
Everybody respected Nokia, but the Window department still need lots of improvement over 2 to 3 years to support its window fones to gain
              customers confidence.

maraj, 15 Jan 2012nokia try to make their set innovative, they expend so much ... moreA very stylish external looks alone wouldn't help Nokia, coz, peoples are no more illiterate like in the past days.
A true smart fone should work efficiently without any restricted OS to be a good "palmtop computer"
....very poor fones like Lumia alone might soon leads into BANKRUPTCY.
Without multiple platforms OS support Nokia will be nowhere in the vast ocean of modern era.

How does one use the Lumina 800 with the supposed "MicorSIM slot" whereas the conventional sim is predominantly used here. Whats the adaptation process??

when i saw the phone for the first time .. got well impressed with the os.. i bought the phone... used for a week and sold it back... Nokia has lost the smart phone market .. Android Is the king... when i end the call its takes 20 or more second to end call...and Zune is one of the boring software to use .. u cannot use the 16 gb space as a drive .. its converts all the video and then saves to the phone.. thats very boring... and time taking... wakr up nokia and no front camrea .. n nokia is a cheater back to back the 900 phone... i feel its will take ages to make a mark .. nokia had lost the bettale .. i was very disappointed with the fone.... very sad to say the King of CELL PHONE . cannot understand today market and requirment....... NOKIA IS BADDDDD.

this phone is not at all worth buyin when you compare to samsung omnia-W . because omnia as got the same features what lumia got... the only diffrence is the camera's MP and the huge cost difference..

I am one of Nokia's biggest fan but I am not happy with what all Nokia is doing these days.they are not working towards the demand of the customers.recently they've launched windows phones which makes no sense in mobile consumer market.they already left symbian development which is not a very good decision. I am happy with their belle release and all others are also happy with the functionality that symbian offers.not like windows, windows is a restricted OS which aims at social networking and web browsing.but there are a lot many things you're leaving behind.windows was never a good choice for Nokia.we don't want windows,we don't want to be different.we want what is best and reliable.we want symbian back with a new name and increased screen resolution or if you are not left with any other choice......then android is 2nd after symbian.why didn't you choose android,,why windows ??people want fun,lot of applications and features at an affordable price.see what samsung is doing, they've launced an affordable android device galaxy Y.android was released in 2008 and became popular in just 2 years creating much hype,,,because nokia phones freezed a lot at that time.I dont know what nokia did in these 2 years.nokia was ruling mobile world for the past 14 years and now samsung is about to overtake Nokia in just 2-3 years,Im afraid a lot and the rising graph of samsung, declining for nokia really made me depressed.nokia never worked on the operating system in these 14 years,,,only one best thing they did in these 2 years was nokia n8 and now belle which they must have done much before.hoping to see Nokia ruling the smartphone world.

i liked nokia a lot . . . once, when they were one of the few an some of the first to make smartphones ,those were the early days of s60 just to mention some :6600 and 6630 . . but now their phones are obsolete before their release, just to mention some apart from bt file transfer matter :
1)screen resoultion in nokia is 480x800 android phones now can be 720x1280
2)single cores ? hi end phones are can't be single core
3)ram 512 and some moths ago was onlu 256mb vs 1gb that android phones have
4)wp7 have sold less than symbian ,and what did nokia do ? migrated to windows ? non sense
5)most of android apps are free wp7 aren't
6)android apps are a lot more than wp7 and everyone can find what he needs
                                7) androids have hdmi out for tv connections lumia doesn't
8)a good android phone with the specs above and with ascreen resolution of 540x960 costs less than half this phone

research should make things better and more accessible to every consumer not worse and more expensive

i loved nokia very much but i hope if they will keep ceo elop at the management one day they stone him with wp7 and symbian phones with their little 256mb of ram in his head after they go bankrupted

Mitz, 13 Jan 2012Very nice phone i have a windows phone 7 since the beginnin... morehi mitz, i have had an imate fone for the past 8 years and absolutely love it. it is also a windows mobile fone.the best thing is the predictive text ability. it "remembers" the texts that you send over a period of time, and then it formulates the word combinations closest to your most popular texts, which means that you can type a few sentences by only initiating a few letters. can the lumia 800 and 900 also do that?
