i've jst purchased my new nokia lumia 800 gsm, its great and all that however i have one problem which seem to be imposible to solve...the battery life is not great it doesn'st last long..after its fully charged made a few phone calls there and then dead... very disapointed with it so i wouldnt recommended to anyone.. thank u.

AnonD-34518, 26 Dec 2011This mobile is extremely over priced !! i got a samsung foc... moremay be ur looking for some dis-advantages but as per my opinion the LUMIA 800 has a great look for SHOWOFF and it has fastest OS ever seen.....................

get the n9 is better, bigger and brigther display, camera quality is better, longer battery life, u can send files via bluetooth

Need some help..
i just got the 800, it's good but doesn't support flash which limits me to what i want to do,
i don't know whether to take it back and get an iPhone4? or wait for the 900 to come out..?
And will Tango be available as an upgrade to Mango?

AnonD-34518, 26 Dec 2011This mobile is extremely over priced !! i got a samsung foc... morestop satisfying in sam man yes 4'' os big what about 2:5mm 360* floting display put ur hand set any wahere and whatch the display man its cool and hot man u will get the clarity same as in ur hand man. samsung market suks where nokia market has 55,000 apps where 40 to 60% are free and 100% try and all aps are 100% vairous free and lisenced and cirtifyed and all nokia windows are complerly vairous free man. Samsung suks man they are realy blinding you gys by giving blank infos. look in to it man you dont know which app will support ur handset and which will not.

Do hell with android....THIS DEVICE GOT STYLE......it is really awesome....i mean i used the android phone earlier but this man... This is something that i never had....android is for boring nerds.....i like to stay cool ....THE FUTURE IS NOKIA LUMIA.....

Basically, what you have to do is cut an mp3 to less or equal of 39 seconds, make it less than 1 MB DRM-free MP3 file. You also have to change its genre to Ringtone. An easy-to-follow guide is here:

This mobile is extremely over priced !! i got a samsung focus( runs on windows mango too)
http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_focus-3453.php on ebay.in for 14k !! and compared with this mobile , the display in focus was way more awesom-er than this ( it's a super AMOLED too , same 480 X 800 pixels).. it has a bigger 4 inch screen(compared to 3.7) and wider viewing angles !! I also took pics in both and compared , i found the samsung focus to hav a tremendously better cam than this ( i mean to say that even though lumia 800 uses 8MP cam, the lens is not good at all) .. the only advantage this mobile has is that it has 1.4 Ghz processor vs focus's 1Ghz .. i find the 1Ghz good enough for the apps in marketplace and i neva had to wait for anything to open !! I'd advice ppl to buy focus on comparison to lumia 800 !! I've used it for few weeks now and its great

hi guys lumia 800 is awasome and ten time better than samsung omniya as it,s display is far better so you can go for lumia800

there is no secondry camera...
and data transfer only via pc..very costly,,
u cannnot download directly vedio and song via browser

Suppose, if video call camera could made available on Lumia 800.
by now, it would have reach No 1 position beating LCD screen htc titan, samsung focus S or radar etc among the window platform.
but now that opportunity has gone.
.......have to wait till the next Tango version pop up on Nokia fones again ! eh.
