AnonD-27473, 03 Dec 2011Nokia Lumia 800 is sell by price RM1600-RM1700!!!!!!WTF!!!!... moreAndroid has it's own faults too. The user interface for different android phones is always different. I honestly do not see the hype about android phones as it is pretty much an "anarchy" when it comes to phone OS's. And every time someone brings up a debate on Android phones it's always the Galaxy S2. Why? Clearly because all the other android phones are not up to scratch. i.e. sluggish in performance and lack luster programming etc. Besides, look at when Android started - 2003. No one had heard of it until 2008? 2009?

On the other hand we have Apple's iPhones (which first came out in 2007). It works very well, easy to use, good quality etc. The major flaw with it being the cost for what it is and the aggressive marketing i.e. apple products which require other apple accessories to work with, iTunes etc.

Meanwhile WP7 only started in late 2010. Like every new product it will always have it's initial flaws. But MS has been coming up with several updates which greatly improved the overall UI experience. Is WP7 "perfect" not yet. Will it be? I believe so. One thing I know for sure is that it has an original and easy to use UI - unlike the Android.

Look at the iPhone for example. When it first came out tech geeks were critising it as it lacked many features which your regular PDA's could do. Look at it now - it has become a benchmark for the smart phone market.

Going back to your rhetorical question "Why you all didn't try android/symbian phone?"

Symbian? That was the OS that caused Nokia to shoot themselves in the foot! Which is why they have adopted WP7 in the first place.

I shall drive my point by saying that more/less features does not necessarily equate to better or worse. It is all about the user experience when it comes to technology these days.

Nokia Lumia 800 is sell by price RM1600-RM1700!!!!!!WTF!!!!!!A simple WP has to sold by this price!!!!Oh Jesus Christ!!!!If nokia fans out there want to buy this sh*t!!!!I tell you DON'T!!!!!No!!!!!
                1. Lumia 800 didn't has front camera and so no video call.
                2. HDMI output is also missing!!
                3. USB output also missing!!!!How sad!!!
                4. It runs WP7 system……A strange system that I never heard…(Why you all didn't try android/symbian phone?)
                5. 8MP Camera just can shoot 720p video but not full HD 1080p!!!!
Above is some reason why I tell you all don't try to buy Nokia Lumia 800!!!!Try another phone such as Samsung Galaxy S II…or you can also wait for the king of phone, Samsung Galaxy S III.

i feel browser info should be corrected as WP is with ie9 mobile engine.
This is the most innovative and promising mobile OS in existence.

Hi guys!! im a user of nokia N8..Yesterday i got a call from my priority dealer saying that nokia lumina 800 demo has been arrived at the store..The very first time i saw the fone it was awesome the display was so bright and with brilliant colour resolution..i went through all the features of the fone..i found these features were missing
                    1.No USB on the go
2.No direct music transfer via mass storage
3.No expandable memory, internal memory limits u to store upto 13gb
                    4.No HDMI output
5.No video calls and front facing camera..
i found many if the features missing on the fone compard to my n8..i intitially thought of selling my n8 and buy this lumina 800 but once i found these features to be missing i really got disappointed and dropped my idea.
i would rather go for lumina 710 since it costs less than 18k INR and worth buying even though it lacks the above all features..
hey if u guys wanna go for lumina 800 just book a fone and u will be the one who gets the first fone in ur city on dec 23rd once the stocks get dispatched..
forgot to tell u something the price of lumina 800 is 25000 INR..@Tirupathi(Andhrapradesh)

Before Android was released by Google, Windows and Blackberry OS phone was already around. Android are arguably created for phones only, not in PDA platform. The reason many like (including me) Windows phone/PDA because of its compatibility in desktop or laptop platforms. Period.

What a piece of crap, yes it might look good, mostly because it has a design of it's own compared to IOs, Android and symbian, but that is a s far as I can go complementing WP7. I would rather live a cellphone-less life again than to use a WP7 phone... once meego and Symbian fade I might end up phone-less after all :D

its price is high. With this specifications how NOKIA wants this much amount ! guys, Nokia has the biggest series of handsets right? How shame, non of them are competitive with present smarphones market.
