It is interesting to note all the comments probabaly of whiz kids/young Generation. I wish to know if Android or New WP software will allow you (as User) to send sms by connecting yr Phone to laptop by Cable provided with Phone e.g. like Nokia 5800 and communicators allow. FYG HTC Legend or Samsung i9000 etc do not have software to read /receive/send your SMS on Laptop screen!! is it true or false? Brgds

there are two opinions in real practical exper... moreLumia 800 will succeed and the best is the integration of all emails, sms and facebooking. fastest in the world when you want easy handling of them.
N9 is also faster than other phones when it comes to in real life. web browsing is fASTER THAN GALAXY ALSO.

there are two opinions in real practical experience
1. if you want the latest quality fone with dolby sound support , it is N9 .
2.if you needs a bit older but with higher specifications , it is GS2.
For most smart fone users ,
lumia 800 is not fully consider smart fone yet due to its low specifications & low functionality.

WP supports video call. We can use application Tango. Perhaps, it is rarely used so it is not included.
When people talk, they listen not watch. Video call tends to be used in long duration. If its the case, compiter fits better as video calling drains battery and not free.

nows,everyone prefers to use dual camera-front cameras phone...for skype for free with camera calling....i think that its important than megapixels or another applications..nokia is professional company..and it has many clever employeers..why they did not do it..i didnt understant

Maybe Nokia is NOT in a dead end, maybe they'll still run the race in 3rd or 4th place, but sure Windows Mobile is DEFINITELY a failure. I don't know how much did Microsoft paid Nokia to leave two beautiful OS like Symbian & MeeGo and use Windows Mobile instead! They sure have mistaken & will pay for their miscalculation. The only regret is that being with Nokia & Symbian so many years (6600, 3230, 3250, 6680, N70, N73, N93i, N82, N85, N97, N8, E72, E6 to name only few of the memorable Symbians), there is a soft corner for them in my heart, & it's hard to control that heart weeping, seeing Nokia fail in the near future. But nothing to do other than weep along with the other people here. Goodluck Nokia, you need it, you need it all to stay on top.

namit, 14 Nov 2011there is no front camera..still nokia stays behind huh That is because Windows Mobile has NO OPTION to have a 3G video call. As simple as that, buddy.

i think if they gave it an os like meego it would of been a gr8 phone the specs are just as good as SE, not every one wants or needs a crazy high spec phone, i love nokia for its simple UI and reliability.
