I accept this os has certain restrictions and limitations ... on its launch it had many but already many of them have been rectified with 7.5 mango .. even these restrictions will be reduced soon ... but for guys who cannot cope up with these restrictions and "IF YOU WANT A COMPLETE OS THIS IS NOT THE MOBILE FOR U" ... And if you want only Nokia wait for the second generation Nokia windows phones ... it will be a complete smart phone which will rule the world ...

Those who haven't used windows phone 7 first try it ... it has a very new look unlike all other OS which looks similar ... and it is very smooth and doesn't lag at all ... AND PLEASE DON'T BELIEVE IN SPECS ALONE ... if you want smooth performance without draining ur battery go for this mobile ...

I have an advice for all of you who accessed the comments to see what the people actually thinks about this phone, go to your carrier and ask for a demonstration of windows phone, most of the people who writes here seem to have a very weird and deep hate for Microsoft and windows phone 7, the funny thing is that most of them i am pretty sure is speaking without even having used a phone with windows phone 7 before, i could speak about my excellent personal experience with the system but i will be flagged as fanboy, this is something you need to give a try, do not listen to all the haters just create an opinion by personal experience.

I want t... moreThe OS is called Windows phone 7 windows mobile disappeared, it is hands down the most intuitive system from all the smart phones out there, it has a full Office suite, you can edit spread sheets, create PowerPoint presentations, modify word documents all on the go, you can have office files stored on the cloud and work with them on the phone or your computer, once you save the file on the computer or on the phone the changes will be visible on the mobile and computer, a coworker did not believe how easy to use windows phone is, i gave my phone to another coworker and we asked him to do some things on the phone, like send an email, an sms, add a contact, create a document, take a picture, change the sound settings, he was able to do all this very fast without having used windows phone ever before, do not take me wrong i am just a happy user i have an LG Optimus 7 and i would like to have this gorgeous nokia also. Will we have to pay to use Zune as well,then this phone is not a phone that everyone can afford to run an buy,Nokia as made a Big mistake choosing Windows instead of Meego or Symbian an even Android,just wonder if this will be the end of Nokia now,as Windows was made by Mr Elop just to help is previous employee Microsoft have some hope of succedeing in the mobile market

Now most of people focus one 's attention on smart phones. Can Nokia release special Tablet PC which can connect to LCD projector, Flat screen TV and also running by Window OS ect. .?

In reality this window lumia 800 is only 49% of the Great Nokia fone expectation....after waiting for a long 8 months.
anyway, Nokia N9 is one of best original (no Xerox copy )fone design with almost all specifications that a smart fone require.

no real multitask, no bluetooth file transfers, no usb mass storage, u have to use zune software for everything and its as bad a itunes.
no front face camera, no usb slot, u only can install apps from microsoft store.
dont buy this terrible phone! get the n9 if u like the design there is a white version

It is great on working with office documents like excel and word, and can open powerpoint slides but you can't edit them on phone. You can watch these kind of videos on youtube for more info. without a doubt you can't find any other phone to work with word or excel :)

i read a few more comments here now and i see a lot of confused ppl. Wake up guys, this is not Windows, its Windows Phone, its not Windows compatible with PC.
I think half of the windows lovers in this thread like the Lumia 800 becoz they misunderstood and dont understand the fundamental difference between win and winphone, and dont understand that intel instruction set is not compatible with ARM instruction set.
The other half is blind nokia followers. So maybe in total there is 1 or 2 persons here who understands what Lumia 800 is and still like it. The rest of us who understands it do not like it and wudnt dream of wasting money on this POS OS

WP is NOT windows compatible, even if it was then its still a different processor architecture and your PC programs would still not work. This is NOT intel-based hardware and it does NOT run the Windows we know from PCs.
