If Nokia Could produce the same specifications of even first generation (galaxy S1 or iphone 4s ) on symbian belle OS ,it will definately reach the top position in the smart phone Arena by now.
        Oh ! what a blunder.

jan, 08 Nov 2011 Hi All, I think Nokia made a misstake to join Windows,... moreyeah good point. swipe ui is superior, but we cannot really push people if they love the metro ui of wp7, anyway those 2 phones are great , you'll be satisfied whatever u choose. Btw i also have n9.
lets continue supporting nokia creation, im a fan, and all nokia fan should protect our turf to those sgs2 or android bashers.. yah sgs2 and android bashers coz there is no ios or iphone fan bashing nokia, am i right? sgs2 and android fans are nothing, they just keep on bashing because they cannot afford to have nokia or iphone.

                all warriors of nokia. ASSEMBLE!

Why Nokia was such a hit, because they were simple & user friendly. Apple iphone, especially iphone4, have got simple design, and also easy to use.

I'm using Android myself, other then my BB phone, and found that Android is not very smooth, and also a bit complicated - a bit messy / un-organized feeling.

I know from people that WP are more simple & easy to use, and they run very smooth. I've never purchase any WP because to other manufacturer produce ugly looking WP. Until now, Nokia come up with this beautiful looking Lumia 800. I'll definately purchase this phone when it's available in my country.

smart ....but this phone is incomplete,

no secondary camera -who needs it?
no memory card slot -it's got enough on board
                        no documents editor - what!
                        no NFC - overrated sillyness
no flash - and soon no one will
no JAVA support - Java, is this 2007?
no wi-fi direct nor hot spot - ok hope it comes later.
no gyroscope sensor - too bad but who needs it?
battery not replaceable by users - bummer
fixed permanent window custom etc etc. - duh?

I hope Nokia can rebound from previous losses.I suggest them to create 4.3" and up sizes of screens.Good Luck Nokia. I am a Nokia fan but lately i used Android TAB.When Lumia arrived here in my region, I surely go back to Nokia again.

Nokia Maps and Nokia Drive voice-guided navigation software have been hacked and can now be used on any WP7, http://blog.gsmarena.com/nokia-maps-for-wp7-hacked-to-work-on-all-wp7-phones/ , and this prove that it was a really stupid choice to choose WP7 and not Android, or continue develop MeeGo! There is no reason at all to buy any Nokia-WP7 because you can get exactly the same when buying any Samsung WP7 or any HTC WP7 or... If Nokia had choosen Android then they could have made real customizations by adding the Harmattan skin, user-interface, but with WP7 they have nothing unique at all and Nokia WP7 is just one of many identical WP7 from Samsung and HTC and...

Fan, 09 Nov 2011.....if Nokia 800 is of Android OS. it will be a total hi... moreYou're foolish for not thinking it was a smart move. Jumping on the Android bandwagon? I'm happy they didn't. I've used two Android smartphones and I can honestly say I've had enough of them. Windows Phone is simple and smooth. Who needs all this ridiculous customisation which makes everything cluttered? I'm waiting for the Apollo update for Windows Phone and I know that will bring some good things and even better devices that will match those of Android. People see anything 'Windows' or 'Microsoft' as bad and I don't know why especially when I highly doubt the majority of the people complaining have fully used a WP device. Nokia is implementing their own stuff into their devices and the design of the Lumia 800 is very nice. That is hopefully a sign to other people that Nokia is not dead and neither is Windows Phone.
