I m frm Bd. I hv gt this phn. Everything is perfect by one great prblm is aftr searching new update by Zune I can't use internet by cellular connection (mobile data). Now I m using internet by WiFi but can't use by any sim. Is any one facing this problem?

i badly say this phone is not perfect to buy. because of its upgrade OS version 7.8. here in the phils. is very hard to find to upgrade this phone from 7.6 to 7.8, if you have this phone which is OS 7.6 you need to upgrade its version to OS 7.8 in order to have bluetooth access. its very frustrated for me because i have to go to NOKIA center for this upgrade version but unfortunately NOKIA center doesn't have this upgrade software yet and its very hard to find this upgrade software.

Update 7.8 still in doldrums, now heard tiles are faulty, they withdrew, half on half sorry, its better fr faulty update, now either it was a eye wash to resize the titles, nothing else. Now forget if any update is promised, becuz no use. Shame on Nokia, they are top n layoffs employess and selling all their assests, and living on NSN profits, from Mea region.

I live in India, bought it two weeks ago!
But i feel little frustrated because, lumia 620 is releasing next month here... which has more features(software wise) than L800.... But still i love lumia 800. No problem with it still today.... But still recommend you to wait for L620,L720 or go for L820 or Grand daddy L920...

Problem is wid ur phone. Lumia 800 is really an awesome phone, though some limitation are there as compared to android. But still its a Royal Phone.
Amazing pic quality afetr click. Make sure that Ease of access is off while using earphones.

I have been using Lumia 800 for 6 months now and all i can say is that if you have any other option not to buy this phone, please do so.
Pros:
Decent Camera
Cons:
Very Limited Applications available in the Marketplace
Interface wallpaper/desktop design has few options
You need Zune to move files to and from phone
Slippery Case
Limited or no face plate, casing available

To Lumia 800 owners :
I love the design of this phone better than the new wp8 lumias and now that the price is right in my country I am thinking of purchasing it
Am I making a mistake going for wp7.x?
What I need to know is what important apps I cannot run on 7.x and is there anyway to bypass zune usage ?
Anything else I should know?

nahin, 23 Feb 2013hey guys i want to buy L800.. so suggest me should i or not?Dont go for that. It's a piece of shit. Go for Galaxy grand which is a far better phone for little higher price. I am about to sell my lumia phone because there are no apps. Instagram, teamviewer and many other apps are not there. Moreover, you would need to pay for the apps unlike android where everything is free. You need to install the apps via Marketplace and there is no real way to unlock the phone to the developer mode.

Brilliant touch and bright on screen display. Best in class camera. Marketplace is no nonsense. Good stuff. Nokia City Lens is amazing. Unless one wants to go for Windows Phone 8, its a great deal.

I bought nokia lumia 800 from pune the problem I faced
1.ear piece will not work at that time mouth piece works and vice versa.
2.phone screen is getting hotter after usage of gprs
3.while I open camera a bluish color is appearing and the picture gets damaged when transferred to pc
Contacted nokia care they told it was hardware issue they will sent my device for hardware replacement after two days they told they have updated the os and the problem got fixed and they also said they were calling from the same fone but the same issue persist help me to sort the same
