ive been using android and then i gave try of this phone.

i tell you this phone is sooooo damn smooth and fast..
for me this phone is better than android.. no lags at all!
apps is not a problem for me coz theres a lot of apps that i can use as a replacemnt for android/ios apps.
games are also much better.. i really enjoy xbox live games.

btw im using the leaked version of 7.8 and i dont have any problem using it.

Update 7.8 not official they announced but backed out next year. Heard its a teaser fr us nothing more with facelift of tiles maybe Bluetooth basic no upgrade except a lolly pop fr 650$ device. Many lags n apps but would sue Nokia if not find buyer at half price. Nokia is gone forever even sold their factory n Finland. China Vietnam India their new home.

Not a value-for-money is Lumia800. Android Phones has better contorl & Customisations. More apps, Themes, flexible settings. The gymic is that the "Theme" Win Phone says is only change of Colour of Tiles. Some of the most common option like "Wifi Hotspot" was not come built-in. Camera setting has marely options. Throughout the phone you will not find any file size. Camera isnot good 8MP image is only 1.4 MB, surprised. Most of the required apps are chargable.

Other than this : Phone is good in holding in Hand. Slick, nice, Speaker phone is good. Signal reception is good. Voice quality too. Fast & smooth operation, great (but smaller 3.7") display. Good battery life.

Best phone ever!, still can't keep my hands off it since I got it 2 weeks back!!!. If you lucky to have WiFi around like I do, its like breeze. Sure will get either the 820 or 920 when the prizes go down in 4 to 6 months

tolu, 23 Dec 2012what can i do? my lumia 800 just went offTo turn it back on, hold down the middle silver power button on the right side of the phone until it vibrates. Your phone should switch back on. If you have a dead battery, just plug the phone in to a USB charging port on your computer or to a USB wall charger. Once it has enough power (a minute or two) it will switch itself back on.

Apple has over 625,000 apps, but 400,000 of these apps have never been downloaded.

Number of apps is not the question. Does it have the games or apps I need? Check http://www.windowsphone.com and go to store to see teh apps for your country.
