yes, lumia 800 works like a hotspot and gives 3g internet to other divices. Sending data on bluetooth must be realized by next software update (1 Q 2013), at this moment you can send only contacts via bluetooth.
By ZUNE synch program( like itunes) you can download video,audio to PC and from pc to phone.

WTF are you talking about...im using my L800 for a long period of time now and its very very good and smooth phone...dont listen to this clown who is saying smoke bcoz i can bet he never used a lumia before

Had this phone only a few days and smoke started coming out of it. Got a full refund. Not happy

the lumia 800 got video call on skype via rear cam this is for lumia 710 and 800 for skype note tht

I love this phone, of all the phone i have used i am very amazed with this phone.. my only problem with this phone is the font size on text massaging is very small, is there a way that we can change the font size?
aside from that it is very nice phone

The lumia range is definitely the more superior brand of smart phone on the market. You cant get closer to a PC than a windows phone, and lets face it, any smartphone manufacturer labels itself as the mini pc.
The rep at my network provider recommended this handset over the apple products, friends and colleagues said other wise, however everything he said the phone can do, the phone can do..
Really impressed with alot of the features the phone has and the applications available to me on the market place.
My chum who was with me on the day of upgrade, ignored the advice of the sales man and took the i phone 5. So we have a running "who's is better" debate, everything he can do i can do too, however my phone has a more stylish finish, it also has the tough screen which makes it much more durable, battery life is also notiably longer than my mates.
defintiely recommend this handset to any one who is considering buying it or taking out on contract.

I got this handset bought to me for my birthday, initially a little disappointed as i had been hoping for an I phone, however thoroughlly impressed with the over spec of the phone, the design is sleek and stylish, gorilla glass display more or less protects my phone from the scrathes most other phones would get in my bag or the bashing it takes on a night out.
I have noticed alot of moaning on here about the market place, i actually prefer it, i find it much more organised than android, less duplicates and easier to use. Camera quality is fanastic with the Carl Zeis optics 8MP, crystal clear.
I was extremley impressed with the Nokia maps and drive, full sat nav on my phone using very little data, City lense being a fanstic app which i tried out recently on a trip to poland.
Held the camera up, took a picture, it recognised my location and brought up all the places around me that i could go to eat, drink, places to visit do, public restrooms, bus station, train station, police, hospital, everything i could possibly think of at my finger tips.

I am Using both Xperia ARC S and Lumia 800.
As all says, it is a good phone by hardware config.very fast processor,faster touch response,good display etc etc. but it lags on what a smart phone should have, that is the main problem.
USB/WiFi Tethering is not available in lumia 800 which is a main factor for a smart phone. Next is drawback of Bluetooth sharing.And next may be a silly thing, that is it cant even change even personal ringtones.
Applications are very limited comparing to android market.
Hope Next software update from windows and Nokia make this a better choice.

Been using it for over a week now. Good phone and the only noticable drawback is no bluetooth file transfer. Hardly miss the front cam. More satisfied after having used Android for over 2 years.

I've studied long 3 months on tech review(Cnet,tech rader,Gsm arena,xda developer,xperia blog) for buying a smartphone which would be charming in design,durable in quality,never slowing down..........at first i bewildered and taking decision of buying xperia arc s or xperia p.......but at length, i found nokia is coming again in the arena of smartphone with lumia serieswith heavy boxing glov to beat Android and I decide to buy it after finishin my hons final exam inshallah.Thanks Gsm Arena for helping in my final decision.

This is the best phone ive had. All the features work great and upload fast and ive never had a problem with the phone unlike the HTC radar i used to have and from now i think i will always buy a Nokia from now.

It is pitty that there is no front camera in the set. We are paying so much amount and we cannot use the video in the skype it is a shame
