Great phone but i have problem with the touch. every now and then, the phone freezes when it sleeps. the touch doesn't respond but the buttons work fine, the screen never come on. i have to do soft reset almost 10 times a day. can someone please help me?

Using it from 2 years... a great experience..no complain so far.
If you go for minor issues then it happens with every smartphone.
Fully satisfied.

Hi I used this phone 📱 from 21 months. Battery is problem but after update windows 8.1 battery is some better than older time. So happy to use this phone 📱. In this time period my phone is no problem and no hangs up 👆 and camera 📷 is better than any 8 megapixel rear camera 📷. So happy 😊

I've been using lumia 820 for 6 month and then stop using it because of its bad battery life. Upgrade to Lumia 1320 because of its great battery life.
Like any windows phone, it doesn't lag at all at my time using it. But the biggest complaints as all window phone users is always not enough app and games but if you use it for work and surfing, it work like wonders. Before using Lumia 820, I using Samsung S3 mini and after few months, it lags a looot even when I'm just surfing the internet.
I'm sticking to lumia because of its lag free advantage and yes, I know Apple also doesn't lag but its price has always been a killer.

I am using lumia phones for more than 18 months. 820 is good phone with nice touch screen, and bing search engine but still Lumia lots of problem
1. Volume key gets hang many time.
2. Don’t have zoom and video pause option is shooting mode
3. No simultaneous vibration and ring. In ringing mode.. always miss the calls.

Guys , i feel it's my duty to do review on this phone :
I was in love with nokia phones since i spend 400$ on this L820. Here is my opinion:
PROS:
1. Fine Amoled colorful display
2. 8gb and 1 gb Ram enough for smooth performance
3. After update more than solid camera
CONS : !!!
1.My friends cant hear me in first 20 s of the call
2. Display heats like hell( you can burn your finger) after short work , not to mention a little gaming !!!!!!!!!
3. I charge my phone at least 3 times a day !! Awful BATTERY !!!!!
4. When on 3g you wont be able to receive or make calls. It will show call dropped
Overall rating : 3\10
NOKIA , DO STH BECOUSE THIS PRODUCT IS SHAME FOR NOKIA .
Im going back to android with note 2 . Maybe will try WP IN next decade ....

There are about 90 percent reviews came out with complements of this phone. Many sites are there like GSM arena. 10 percent haters are not smart over 90 percent happy owners of N.L 820. I would like to say one thing to you, at first you should learn to use your smart phone properly, otherwise you would not get its best. It's a Carl Zeiss lance camera, and they are world famous professional lance maker, there are no difference between their any 8 mp camera lance. So 8 mp is its just there final 8 mp lance, you can't get better result in any 8 mp lance. We all know it's not a BSI sensor camera, it has limitations to take good low light picture, so there's we have to use the flash or high ISO and exposure setting. I never heard anywhere about your mentioned point that your L820 3g doesn't work properly in certain areas. Really there's lots of reviews where people prices its strong network coverage in any situation, may be you got a faulty device. I don't have such problem, I would say opposite of what you said, this phone got the best network coverage performance in every situation, 2g, 3g whatever it is. There's nothing to disagree here that 1650 Mah battery is not good enough but it works pretty well with its battery saver mood. Even some flagship high range handset got pathetic battery life, so what you can expect from this mid range machine. You shouldn't expect much more with a 200 US dollar phone like in a 500 US dollar phone. Lets compare other brand phones with its price, there are no 4g, no full HD video record, support, no smooth HD game performance etc.

AnonD-230336, 29 Sep 2014This phone is disgrace to Lumia family.glad nokia stopped t... moreI have this phone and it has only one disadvantage - battery. in other cases phone is perfect: it can load any app and game with no problem; especially i want to underline the colors of display. u can compare the same pictures on lumia 820 screen and any other phone (lumia 925, 1520, galaxy S3, S4) and see the result. I can confidently say that 820 has more bright and high quality colored display, than others.

This phone is disgrace to Lumia family.glad nokia stopped this phone production.wp is enjoyable experience in other wp phones.This is worst phone because of worst battery life.even cheap android gives great battery life camera quality indoor is pathetic with greenish tinge.its highly overpriced mid range failure from Nokia.Nokia/MS plz don't produce such a worst battery life phone if you want wp to stay relevant.And this phone also cannot lock 3 g signal if you are in ground floor whereas my android can held its 3 g another drawback.brought it at 21200 ₹ worst value for money.But one positive thing is it never lags or hang most of the time.Thanks to wonderful wp is.

I have this phone and, I strongly recomend it, very fast, multi tasking is really gret, it doesn't get any lag in anything, display even with "poor" ppi is just great, camera is amazing too, for games it's a real machine, the only thing in phone that can be considered bad is the battery, Nokia could puted a 2000mAh at last, but in general anyone who get this phone will be glad to have it
