I have found something recently I don't like. I was puzzled why sometimes I couldn't hear the caller properly. Then I worked out that it was the poorly designed speaker. If you hold the phone so that the earpiece is exactly in the middle of the ear you can hear the caller clearly; but if you raise or lower the phone by just 1cm then it is difficult to hear.

Nokia Drive+ works very well and maps and navigation are top notch. A few more top apps and a few bugs worked out and this is a great phone. I already prefer it to my android.

i was thinking the same thing lol i have had this phone 10 days now and its deffo the best windows phone ever owned a windows 7.5 htc and hated it but this lumia 820 is unreal i love it would even go as far to say its better than some android phones i have owned

just had a chat with Nokia @ http://www.nokia.com/in-en/support/contact/
they informed me that LUMIA 820 will be in INDIA stores on 1st week of January.

I don't know if someone already posted this but I think that Nokia's Lumia 920 and 820 are the first phone to have all GSM bands + LTE in one phone. If only they built in CDMA as well, this would be a true world phone :)

I had a full charge in the morning and went to bed with 60%. That is with web, email, texting and calls. They don't want u to use that mode because programs that skim data from your phone will close as soon as u are done using them. They will not be able to retrieve data in the background.

Nokia, pliz produce a Stronger battery for the upcoming lumias in future ?
coz, lumia 820 has a weak battery issues for continuous net browsing beyond 3 hours.

I appreciate your comments, but the problem is still unacceptable with modern technology.
I purchased this phone because I needed a second telephone number. My main phone is a Galaxy S3, and left for the same amount of time under the same circumstances, uses 2% of the battery's power.
I don't seem to be the only person complaining about the poor battery life on the 820, so it appears to be a problem that needs addressing.

Freefaller, 21 Dec 2012There is definitely a problem with either the battery or th... moreI dont see the problem here, we already know WP8 doesnt not have great standby times, and even on an Android phone with similar hardware and such a small battery as the Lumia 820 would drain almost as much, especially if on a weak 3G signal.
Theres nothing wrong with your phone. 18% in 12 hours give you 60 hours standby with 10% battery to spare still. And, if you didnt disable all wifi and bluetooth and so on then this is good.

.....sale markets will solely depends on
1.availability of breakable resistance screen,gorilla glass protection.
2.a stronger battery life capacity to lasted a couple of day uses.
Sorry, but the general publics are no more ignorant about E-gadgets.
