Phone works very well, no hanging or freezing issues, but lack of apps is its main handicap..doesnt have the flexibility or power of android but is pretty good in its own right. I want to know if anyone has been able to use NFC cos I havent, some websites say you need a special shell for that, I have the wireless charging shell but cant seem to make NFC work with my other NFC equipment. Cheers!

Nokia official website (India) has stated in their specifications that 4G is not available for Lumia 820.
Is this something to do with 4G network availability in the country?

nice build phone, very cute, to those who wnats to buy a phone, I assure you, if you buy this you wont regret, the only problem is there is not much program for win8 yet, but I don't think it will be long time till they update for win8, useful programs like whatssapp and viber
overall this is much much better than crapy samsung

Working for a mobile retailer i do think that it's a great phone considering all it offers, however I am not sure what nokia has been doing so far since release we have come up with 3 "dead on arrivals" where the phone just doesn't work or start and 4 "Early Life Failures" where the phone broke within a month. C'mon nokia step up on your game or you will be left behind further by android and ios

I bought Nokia Lumia 820 last month...i think its the best phone i ever used......screen,,,cam,,,everything is awesome....im android user but now i love Wondows 8 ....

Hi Guys.. i am going to buy lumia 820..but my friends told the lumia 820 and 810 series met hanging..so best u got to lumia 920....so now am confusing 820 mobile meet hanging(struck)..plaese suggest ASAP...can i buy 820?

zonal, 10 Dec 2012 surely ’ll buy Lumia 820 if it proved to possess Goril... moreI have a Lumia 820, and as far as I know, it has scratch resistant glass that is not the Corning Gorilla glass brand. That said, mine does not have any scratches yet and it seems to be smudge resistant too (not sure if it has an olephobic coating, but does not smudge easily). I dont use a screen guard and I think the screen is great.

nokia lumia phones lack one feature except nokia lumia 510.they donot have fm radio

asen sum, 09 Dec 2012both 920 and 820 use corningglass,i already see and testing... more surely ’ll buy Lumia 820 if it proved to possess Gorilla glass protection,
.......otherwise more affordable flagship Galaxy S3 is my other choice for Xmas season.

Anonymous, 10 Dec 2012Found it very hard to open :-(It is, and thats part of the solid build quality!! Hold the phone in one hand, put your other fingers on top of the phone and prise it open with your nails, when it opens partially, push in the middle of the phone's back with your thumb while continuing to pull with your fingers on top..the back cover will pop open and you can pull it away..you'll get used to it after a few times but yes, its very hard to remove!!

both 920 and 820 use corningglass,i already see and testing to hit it by key,so it's fine
