Let me show some Brand Loyalty. I have been a customer to Nokia since 2005 Feb, when I bought Nokia 1100. And then Nokia 6600, Nokia 5233, Nokia 701, Nokia Lumia 610 followed... Why again to break the chain. Will go for this 4.3" Mini Comphone the Nokia Lumia 820, when it arrives here in Vizag this November/December 2012. Atleast my wish for a large screen will be fulfilled..

I would like to have a multi-faceted phone (Smartphone) that should be multi-tasking as well as a large screen one >5" and should have a user replaceable battery and atleast Corning Glass.

My Options are: Nokia Lumia 820 and Samsung Galaxy Note II, the main dilemma is the antenna in Note II is open to air and is not covered.

That has a 5.5" Screen...! Please help.. I don't like to have a stylus operation..

Lumia 820 SD card memory support has increased from 32gb to 64gb now.
but no more gorilla glass on this phone, only non-scratchable coating on cheaper brittle glass.

val, 07 Oct 2012Where are you getting your prices from? European prices nev... moreIt's sorta ridicilous if you think the phone only costs 50$ or whatever in the US.

You pay like 100$/month for your cellular service, we pay 10$/month for the same contract.

Obviously the price of the phone has largely been hidden into the cost of the contract, we have it the other way around, we actually pay the retail price for the phone and we dont get ripped off with ridicilous contracts.

If the price does not come down at the right time, then there's no alternative to LG flagship Optimus 4X HD priced at US $ 485 currently.

Nokia smartphone GPRS and EDGE quality degrading from class 33 to class 12 only this days.
LG Optimus 4x hd is much better than lumia 920/820 with edge/gprs class 33 for all 2g networks users in my country.

jek, 05 Oct 2012it doesn't have a FM tuner. another backstep for nokia. How... moreEverything has a reason. Carriers want devices that use more DATA. Therefor memory must be limited to force the user into using the cloud. The same way the user must be forced to listen to internet radio. Apple has been doing this from day one, and it worked for them.

The i-phone res is not much higher check the the res of the nokia 808 pure view its much lower than the i phone but the screen screen quality is great because of the "Nokia ClearBlack display" and the brightness of the display as this phone will have a good display because it uses the same technology with a higher resolution
