820 spec of camera is much lower than 920 (no BSI and OSI with 0.7 less megapixel at back, also 0.3 mpixel front camera) you can say it is almost equal to 900 camera spec and Display is also from 900 (4.3 SAMOLED+). Few things that 820 beat 900 are CPU, RAM and OS.

I can say 820 is an direct upgrade of 900. And Lumia 900 is currently around $400.

So, 820 is a MIDRANGE phone (with High-end price)

Expect price of 920 = $800 and 820 = $640, this is too expensive!! 820 is almost a 900 UPGRADE!! so around $500 is reasonable.

I don't iphone5 so i have to find an alternative, if it is this price i will go for Windows Phone 8x from HTC

              Hello ! all Lumians
Let's requested Nokia to reduced the current pre-order price of lumia 920 /820 for competitive markets.
so that all Apple / Android slaves will return back to Lumia or atleast envy of us.

I am speechless with tears in my eyes when I look at this 820 Lumia beauty.. Finishly Finished.

No compromise on quality, beauty and innovation.. Nokia's about to own it on Windows. HTC's Windows8 releases surprisingly could not move me as the Lumia820

non HD, very low screen resolution at 217 ppi (2009 era) has spoilt the good impression of lumia 820.
....reverse million customers to alternative HD screen cheaper smartpone.

Lumia smartphone has a history of very good reviews from all corners,
......but low sale record due to Mr Elope poor dealing with the customers,
like price issues, variety of choice and availability in the local markets while the OS is red hot.

Likely my next phone simply because of it's smaller more manageable size. The Lumia 920 granted it's more impressive but it's a bit too large for my tastes..this phone is close enough in it's capabilities. N8 user btw.

Price competitive factor will determined ( 60% to 80%) failure or success of the mid-range smartpone like lumia 820.

Does This Phone support SIP (VOIP) like other Nokia Phones (Symbian)? Does it has built-in or integrated SIP services or not? I just use Nokia because of its SIP feature... please let know if any body have hands on experience of this phone? Please confirm it either its integrated with SIP by default or not?

Anonymous, 25 Sep 2012Time to made space for LG Optimus G ... s4 pro, quad core... moreDear friends, Windows Phone 8 as it is a lighter OS than Android is, a quad core CPU is not needed. In fact the daily experience with 2-core Krait in WP8 will be, maybe, better than on Android OS.

To sum up: WP8 does not need quad core CPUs to smoothly operate.
