The official Windows Phone 8.1 will be released sometime in mid-October, it also depends on your carrier provider on when to release it, but you can get WP 8.1 developer preview by enabling your device to be used for debugging. just download the Preview for Developers app on Store, Log in using your MS Account and your good to go.

I really wished Nokia made dual sim version of the 820.....since the specs of the 820 is better than the 630.

Lumia 820 was really a good phone from Nokia. Amoled screen was really excellent for colors while playing games. Game lovers must have amoled display. Coming to specifications, has best processor of 1.5 GHz, 1gb ram which is more than enough on a smart phone. Camera was really good for pictures and videos. It also supports micro SD card, may be after upgrading to windows phone 8.1, it may support up to 120 gb card, Microsoft recommends to use class10 micro SD card for best performance. It also has wireless charging capability and NFC. Performance was good with windows phone which doesn't lag at all. Cons: poor battery backup, but for normal usage, stands up to 15 hrs. And the secondary camera is a vga camera, which may not be much better for Skype call/ video calls. Overall the Nokia Lumia 820 was really a good phone.

i like about 820 its ram & primary camera with led light,we need secondry camera need minimum1.3mpx, & most price should be between 15000 tp 18000 max. its make a perfect phone,nokia has high price its shoul be become low if want up in market.

rony, 12 May 2014for camera and bettery life 720 is way better, otherwise 820.I bought Lumia 720 today . It is a perfect phone and Iam happy with it. Thanks for your attention :)

uh phone is so good but os not. windows sucks. lack of apps are there, so why smartphone. hey windows i want apps apps apps. where my fav classic games here like punisher, metal slug, aero fighter and many more. do some work there please.

Did you expect Windows Phone, Android and iOS to all work together nicely? If you want your devices to all work together, then stay with one platform! Otherwise, don't gripe and say "this is my last one" because you expected them to do the impossible.

phone is good fast and touch is smooth but fucking problems are overheating ,no long battery back up ,no facebook calling supports, good apps are not free ! no file manager ! photo viewer can't display all the images have in memory card.

In any case, the current "Developers Preview" is actually a beta, so you should expect it to be better in the future, when MS optimizes the software and Nokia (now MS) also gets the 820 new firmware.
