Achilles, 19 Aug 2015R u really using a 4g airtel sim coz Lumia 830 is not liste... moreI dont know about the listings in Airtel Site.
When after an update from Microsoft it showed 4G. I just ordered a 4G SIM online and they delivered free of cost to my home, followed the steps to activate 4G and it got activated within 15mis. Now it shows 4G network. But Battery drains off by 6 hours when in 4G mode.

Its 9 months use now...everything works flawless...great phone. 4G works quiet excellent

in addition to that. today I went to a arcade to get a phone. there was Lumia 830 too. in that phone also have the camera problem. I ask them why is that. they said that will fix by a update by them. However they said that it is small problem.
So buddies who have that problem, contact the customer case service center. I think they will fix your problem.
By the I went there to buy Lumia 735.

This Nokia Lumia 830 is the best phone so far camera is great and games also have been play very well In this device .And yes there is a little bit problem in software but it"s not a very big problem of this phone . sometimes update of your phone this update version is not support any App or games or any camera problem. only update period of time . windows 8.1 version (original Version )is great for this phone .

After 2 months of usage me also faced the plaguing camera issue but luckily my seller refunded the whole money instead of a replacement.

This phone is a Disaster. Please dont waste your money. It got serious camera issues and even Microsoft stopped the production for Lumia 830.

Does the Microsoft windows camera on this device offers the "tap anywhere on the screen to capture a picture"? I am not sure if you guys understand what i mean. I had a Lumia 822/ Denim, WP OS 8.1 which the microsoft camera allowed me to open the camera app and tap the screen and the picture was taken. It's unlike the Lumia camera app. That is one of the differences between the two camera apps. So my question was if with OS 10, Lumia Denim the Lumia 830 microsoft camera would do the same tap screen thing?

Bought Lumia 830 in Feb. Never faced any problem till now. Had a latest update a month ago, now my phone has option to enable 4G too, got upgraded after upate.
Got a 4G airtel SIM, Speed is great, peak hours I get 10 to 15 Mbps and more.
I would say microsoft needs to develop more apps. Other than apps, phone is superb, restarts fast. (booting)

rjguru, 11 Aug 2015what should i do for the camera problem with lumia 830Go to camera settings and change Lumia camera to windows camera for your default camera. It should be work.
If doesn't, please contact customer service centre.
