quality of Nokia(Microsoft) phones after Microsoft bought Nokia phones is terrible. Problematic hardware... Microsoft not really care about quality of hardware like Nokia did very well in the past.

[deleted post]Never in my life have I experienced such problems on the phones that I have bought. One advice I would give you is to spend a considerable amount of time in checking the phone in the store before deciding to buy. Online purchases are less reliable in terms of getting a proper working unit.

Lumia 930 is only better then the note 4 in the camera department , but if you are bored from android and want to switch to Windows phone , then let me tell you , lumia 930 has an amazing camera and it's a very fast device but have an average battery life.
I have lumia 830 , it has a very good camera also but not as good as the lumia 930 , and it's thinner and lighter then the lumia 930 and has a better battery life.

sunny, 18 Jan 2015Plz guyz help me. I m very confused berween galaxy s5 and l... moreI have used both the galaxy s5 and the lumia 830. I would recommend the Lumia 830. They both have the same ability to expand memory, removable battery. Touchwiz was to laggy for me. Even thou the Lumia has a much smaller processor , it seems to be faster in day to day use. The camera on both phones are outstanding. People always complain about the amount of apps on windows phone but it has all the apps i use. If you are into gaming then you should definitely get the Galaxy S5 .The Lumia 830 isn't great when it comes to playing games. If price is an issue then obviously the Lumia is the way to go. It's about 300 dollars less then the Galaxy S5.

have the lumia 830, i can not install the live lock screen beta app.
firstly its not in the store and when i go to the microsoft store website and try from there, it tells me about family control/setup,
i dont have any family controls setup,
cant understand, a friend had this app on his lumia 520.
anyone got any information or help on this matter?

1)Very good camera specially when you learn how to use manual mode.
2)very good battery
3) very smooth never lags
4)thin and very light for a 5 inch phone
5)Feels very solid and looks very good.
disadvantages:
1)camera takes time to open ( but this will be fixed in the new lumia camera app , should be released any day now )
2) Lack of apps ( but you will find all the major apps out there )
3) the external speaker are not so good .
I canot think of any more disadvanages but am a windows phone fan knowing that i used to own iphone and android , and i used to own lumia 720 before i got the 830.

maninder singh, 18 Jan 2015can any one tell about the music quality over the earphone.... moreThe output is good , not as good as an iphone or HTC beats audio , but better them Samsung , but if you are using a beats studio headset you willnot notice any difference as it has a built in amp.
