the phone has 4G. if u check the specs in the nokia india it just shows 3g. but if u check nokia UK website for specs for lumia 830 its shows it has 4g. nokia(microsoft) has locked the 4g ability just bcoz 4g is still not available in india excluding Banglore ,Kolkata and other cities.When 4g becomes avilable in all places there will be a update unlocking the 4g..

I have Lumia 720 and Lumia 830, the L720 has a good battery back up than the L830, and most durable because it's unibody. But the L830 has a better main Camera and good quality sound. But about the software they were the same. I think the Lumia Cyan and Lumia Denim has nothing different. The Nokia Camere can be downloaded to Lumia Cyan from the store. Check the Lumia 830 before buying because mine has no Rich Capture, same as Lumia cyan.
