i have to add, that the excuse "you have too many apps" is a bad excuse that android users been throwing around since the beginning. It was stupid back then and is ret@rded by now. We dont hear that anyone have too many apps on iphone or N900 or whatever fone, its only android. Android 2.3 is hyperactive in closing running apps, so how can many apps cause lag or instability? Multitasking is virtully non existing in 2.3 because everything in background is being closed automatically, so apps cannot be the reason. And i am not using many apps on my xperia, only a very few installed and even fewer being used.

das, 25 Jan 2012android gingerbread 2.3 is quite stable . ICS is also good ... moreDo you mind defining "quite stable"? Now my xperia Pro has not been rebooted for a couple of days and is acting up, not always loading webpages, and its lagging badly.

My HTC on 2.3 cannot be used too much, never could, it will hang and only way to get it started back up is to remove the battery. My sisters LG has the same occasionally. 2.3 also.

                    Ok, quite stable?

My Nokia N9 has been used continuously since i bought it and havent been rebooted since i updated it to PR1.1. My nokia N900 was rebooted less than once a month. Thats what i call stable. I am used to stable phones, havent seen a stable android phone yet. And i am used to stable PCs, i have some screenshots of my Core i7 running Debian, uptime 110 days. It was 60% overclocked and ran 8 threads of Einstein@Home constantly. It was for a long time in the top #20 computers there, as the only single socket unit. Now thats a good definition of Stable. Now you can define "quite stable"

How come none of my Android phones are stable? Or people i know, why noone has stable behaviorin 2.3? 2.1 was the last Android that had a fairly stable behavior, since then it got worse and worse, and expect ICS to be the most unstable ever.

Android is only good coz it doesnt have as many restrictions as WP and iOS. Thats why i recommend android, but to users who dont need divX support i would recommend ipone4 ofcors. Maybe in teh future WP is good enough, when the batteries last more than a few hours and when tehre is at least a few useful apps/games for it, and when they get IPS or SLCD displays.

CS Sanchit, 24 Jan 2012Y card slot are nt hv in lumia900, 16gb r nt much space 4 data..16gig is a lot of space when you are not allowed to copy your files to it. USB or WIFI or Bluetooth, all are not allowed. Its a closed system, you will not need much space, unless you spend ridiculous big amounts in purchasing stuff though Microsoft zune and Nokia store.
