Lester, 17 Dec 2011It's not Nokia's fault if it doesn't have a dual core cpu. ... moreSorry but that is not quite how it is. The O/S may not utilise it but is perfectly capable of running on a dual core platform. The real reason MS don't want to have dual core phones running Windows Phone 7.x is that they will have to provide updates when Windows Phone 8 is released. They will get around this by claiming Windows Phone 8 requires a minimum of a dual core platform to run. Thus forcing everyone to upgrade to new hardware and getting them out of providing updates. They can then also claim that their phone platforms are not fragmented. Well no, they won't be as they have sneakily got out of provding updates by ripping customers off. After all they have a track record of doing this as they did with Windows 6.x. They claimed the HTC HD2 could not be upgraded to Windows phone 7 and yet the HTC HD7 (one year later of course!) running Windows phone 7 had indentical hardware specs. Oh there was one absolutely vital difference and this is so important. It had 3 buttons instead of 5 on the case!! MS eventually owned up that was the best reason they could come with. As an ex-HD2 owner do they really think I will ever buy a Windows based phone again!!??

Not having front facing camera and no dual core cpu will take me off the list. I have a SGS now and I'm not very happy with Android. I'm looking for a more stable platform and I think WP is the one. Nokia needs to step up and compete with the current best which is SGS II now.

AnonD-23267, 09 Dec 2011Bcoz microsoft sets strict hardware rules over manufacturer... moreYes and then come next year they will stipulate that all WP8 phones must be dual core, to get out of providing updates and try and rip us off for new phones. By forcing hardware manufacturers to go with less powerful phones now they are deliberately building in obsolescence.

If you want Windows Phone 7.5 then your gonna have to live without SD support and use the Sky drive 25G of space .....Windows Phone 7 = no SD has to do with mircosoft not Nokia or any other Device maker

Samsung had a killer phone which was Galaxy S2. Almost every required feature was ther in that phone. Come on nokia now u need to plan for a killer phone with good specs. Otherwise there are high chances that u would be knocked out of the market soon.
Dont go some stupid decisions like not adding card support, no radio and all.
We want nokia on top again.

Would like external card support and front cam. Not like stupid Lumia 800 ... without these 2 features its hard to call it a smartphone these days

Windows Phone 7 is right now by far the best OS but...
no card slot is major flaw. If this phone had 64GB capacity I would definitely go for it. But Galaxy SII already has 32GB and 32GB memory... I cannot go for less.
Come on Nokia guys. Give us sth better. we know you can do it. I don't mind the price level ...

All windows phones have FM radio, Document editor (in built office has OneNote, Word, Excel, PPT etc.) amongst other things.

I use OneNote for taking random notes, TOdo's etc. - and these are automatically synced to "skydrive" - which means I have them on my phone anywhere I go. Great thing is that I can edit/add notes - and they are synced back to my pc.

looks nice. hope its not a fat so. camera must be as gud as i-phone 4s. plus if this phone has a talking assistant like i-phone 4s. then we are talking business.then nokia will b bak on top again. otherwise my 1st choice will b i-phone 4s. there is no card slot in this. plus your battery should be inter-changable not like e7 and i-phone's.
