If you haven not gotten the update (1308) may be you may not realize the difference.... but no offense intended.
On battery, much has changed over last 2years
I occasionally use N97, it has stereo sound but headsets output quality is much different....battery life is 5days with moderate use...while lumia 920 gives 3days on average use.
Every phone has its strengths and some phones are like wine...they improve as they age...I have a E72 (Topaz Brown - four years old) which amazes me...it gives me 8days on 51% with daily 1 hour calls on 2G. So comparing these phones is not a quick snap thing cos it depends on a functonality, screen size, OS stability and power sparing capabilities.
ahahha...I have known Good Nokia devices....and I will always buy their devices to enjoy different functionalities.
I love Lumia 920...

@ akshay... Tell care persons that phone is under warranty and if they do not give free repair or replacement file a consumer forum complaint... Bcoz of huge line up of care centres nokia has brought cheap people into the business.. And most of the times nokia does not know about such thing...
@ genius... Brother u are wrong about music section there is wide scope of improvement open.. I give it 7/10, it does not compete with my n91 (no phone can) but cant with c7 and 808 also.... And man...are you a poet..lol

The best part about this phone is the battery life. I remember my Xperia S was almost always empty by 4pm, whereas I sometimes go to bed at night and my Lumia has more that 60% battery power left. I never turn the cellular data off and only have Wifi at home, yet the battery just lasts for ever.

Remember to use wireless for updating your device when you realize that your phone has updates. You could also reset phone and make complete and genuine configurations to restore to factory settings but this will require you to back up apps and your stuff on your phone to the computer.
¬- settings>system>phone updates>get updates (requires Internet connection)
settings>system>about>reset...restores factory settings
NB:
1308 Updates may only be downloaded with the following
¬settings¬>Wifi¬>ON...
(Which means you should have a wifi hot-spot to connect)

I have to say that, for you to maximize on the power of the Qualcomm snapdragon, you will need to train your phone by using a variety of application and not over-using only one function. The biggest challenge however is that the screen is so beautiful and the internet is so fast that you can't put the phone down...but make sure you fully charge your battery and wait until it is critically low before charging again.
Remember to switch off the phone sometimes, may be when you go to sleep or have it on flight-mode so that it can rest. continued use of any device will definitely consume more power.
I believe when you get 1308 update it (L920) will be much stable and you will love it even more and more.
Remember to exit applications that run in the background, bluetooth, if you do not need them and reduce brightness to low.
Do not be worried, the best will still get more than best.

Please help me! My 920's battery won't last more than 4-5 hours with 3g browsing... What can i do?! Please help me, because this phone in the perfect extension for me... I haven't got the 1308 update, the phone was bought from Wind Italy. Thanks in advance!

pls make better quality phone....
got a lumia 920 ...in 3 months i faced phone hanging issues
and all of a sudden now my phone's dead
took it to nokia care they say its motherboard issue and will cost Rs 12000.
never going for this brand once again....

Hi Luminarians!
I noticed an improvement on camera and stability on power and general performance after 1308 update. Camera is much better with or without flash on. I post very beautiful photos on my facebook wall on daily basis, and that is so because of my love flowing from my heart through Lumia 920 to the people around me.
Battery is always amazing and I discover many ways of kicking back the battery when I realize I will need it more. Gone to bed at 11.27pm, battery at 67%, turned off the phone (Lumia 920 Please!...not any other fone-thing)...wake up at 6.00 am...turn on the Luminary....I get the battery meter at 98%..!!
Last week I traveled and my Lumia 920 battery died off (0%)...then I continued using my other Nokia phones ( I carry three....soon I will hit 15 like another CEO I know...ahaha)
When I came back to my hotel suite, I decided to turn on Lumia 920 and check whether it could defy laws of attraction and plasticalaxy....my L920 hit back at 59% battery!
Is that beautiful?...
Music so clear and every beat is audible at the right sound through and through..

No 1 can mess with nokia's camera clarity n its smartness while shoot at sunny enviornment and indoors.
In short nokia is d best of all for every thing.
Just wants to improve animations in its os
