to all who criticize the 512 ram, currently there r only two games that can't run on : temple run and i believe it will get an update to work on 512 ram phones soon(like asphalt 7). and modern combat 4 : this one most likely won't get an update for 512 ram phones but let's face it : there's no android phone in the same price of the lumia 720 can run modern comabt 4(and all android phone within its price have 1 gb ram and still can't run Modern Combat 4) so its not about 512 ram in the 720 compared to 1gb ram in android phones of the same price since the 720 and droids of the same price can't run the same games but the 720 offers far more better features.all wp apps run on 512 ram phones. and microsoft said ALL wp8 devices r upgradable. and for those who say this price is too much for a 512 ram phone, the iphone 4s which costs double has 512 ram .its not about having 512 ram ,its about the whole package!! for this price, the package is quite good and currently there's no android phone with this price can offer such package. so trolls and haters,cut off the drama and shut up. ur bad words won't affect such an awesome device!!!

AnonD-96772, 15 Apr 2013The only video format Windows Phone cannot play is .mkv and... moreits the only reason why i dont want to pick up a lumia 920. it has no mkv playback and all my videos are in mkv format. so right now im torn between lumia 920 and the one x+. i hope what you're saying is true about the update for it to be able to play mkv files. if that update comes, in a heartbeat i'll definitely get one but for now, im torn between the two mobile devices.

devabarta, 12 Apr 2013No mkv, no avi playback that the problem of window phone .You are wrong. AVI files play fine. MKV don't but you can convert MKV to AVI easily using AVIdemux.

sanndohmo, 13 Apr 2013Absolutely you're right WP can't play most of the videos wh... moreThe only video format Windows Phone cannot play is .mkv and that will be playable in an upcoming update or using VLC for Windows Phone 8 (coming soon).
AVI, MP4, 3GP, MOV all play fine. Videos downloaded through Bluetooth also play fine.

My Lumia 920 has decided to start the week on a high profile, shooting beautiful photos and making crisp images; call quality is just amazing....my tiles are well styled up and facebook for windows loads smoothest.
I watch live tv by Al Jazeera app and the quality of the display is just like it was prophesied....Clear, mouth watering, eye fixing (IPS LCD capacitive 16.7 million colors)
I love this, now I am made to Lumia...trained for Luminary and working as a Luminaritan....

guys ...need your help....
actually i want to buy a lumia 720....but its not released in india ...so i am posting it here for xperienced users....i want to have lumia 720...but people say its 512mb ram is not sufficient.....will the phone hang or freeze....please help!!! i dont want to regret,and some complain about apps...are there no good apps at all??my friend recommended me sgs2...whatshould i do??/ please help......?

Those exceptions you mentioned like camera, screen, and navigation apps are the main and important features that people are usually look for in handsets.
