But rectified after blowing air, also google, 'Dust in front camera Lumia 920'

I have a black lumia 920. Just a few niggles.

                          Most annoying:
                          1. the body is not sealed properly. it squeaks when pressing lightly between power and camera buttons.

                          2. because of improper sealing, dust is filled up inside the front camera and the earpiece.

this causes the Proximity sensor to malfunction and everytime I answer a call, the screen goes BLACK. as a result, I cannot switch to speaker or mute or do anything until the call ends.

I can't even END the call! highly frustrating and in my opinion, a deal-breaker.

                          Mildly Annoying:
                          1. Cannot send a photo via Bluetooth UNLESS bluetooth is switched on prior to the send. I mean, come on! If I want to "share" a photo, it should let me select BT and automatically switch it on. Even the cheapest Android handset does it! So, in the absence of a pulldown toggle bar, you have to go all the way back to settings and switch it on and then select the photo AGAIN and share it. Mildly annoying.

the thing I miss most from my Android is the pull-down status/notification bar with the quick toggles for various settings.

other than that, the phone is quite nice. Windows Phone 8 leaves a lot to be desired in terms of controls given to users. Android has far too many ways to customize the phone, volume controls for each notification, etc. which seem to be missing in WP8.

Amy singh, 06 Feb 2013This phone has a battery issue. The windows 8 os is great bu... moreYour statement could be 110% true for any android phone. But never for a Windows phone. Many reasons behind it.
                              - The way Windows phone has been designed, makes it very light on resources & the phone harware.
                              - The file system & the security of the OS prevents intrusion from malware which helps in maintaining the smooth performance of the phone all the time.

So if it is a closed OS, there are also some benefits because of it.

                              Conclusion:
Windows phone does not lag like android.
It maintains the same performance even on the long-run. Unlike android handset which requires a reboot almost once in two days. Also android requires so many third party applications to tweak the phone performance & battery life. That is not the case with a Windows phone.
