I didn't get anyupdate it is out of box feature. Regarding battery, let run for few cycles after that we can calculate.

AnonD-78905, 18 Jan 2013i cud not find $-symbol pls help meAre you from India, because in my phone, on the keyboard while typing messages there is an option to turn the language of the keyboard to hindi, after that I am getting the $ symbol on the 2nd page of the symbols, whereas when the keyboard is in English there is a symbol of Yen on the same place, I found the $ but in a bit confusing way, hehe.

The OS runs smoother on that 1GB because the OS was WRITTEN for 1GB. The problem with modern phones is that people think specs are everything, they aren't, there needs to be an even spread of OS software and hardware. A phone OS built for dual core processors could out perform an OS built for quad core if the OS is built right. That's why WP8 and iOS are equal to, or in my opinion, better than Andoroid

shova, 18 Jan 2013looks good and since i want to buy one so i am a but confus... moreIt's better, the super sensitive touch layer means you can use it with gloves (not just the special touch screen gloves either) and it's proven to have a more responsive touch screen than the iPhone

I hate my galaxy note 2 everyday charging even it has a battery of 3000mhr last one day of use.....and camera sucks!!!! beleive me.
now i want to buy nokia lumia 920.

Hello all..
Initially I got a Lumia 820.I used that phone for a month but always wanted the flagship means the 920 but I was concerned about the weight..
Anyway I had a offer from my friend for the 820 I couldn't refuse so sold it and bought a 920.Previously I had a SAMSUNG GALAXY 3 for about 4 months.
I have been using the 920 since about 20 December I have a white lumia.
1.It is a beauty the WHITE lumia is class
2.WEIGHT I was concerned but somehow I don't know how but you don't feel its heavy at all..I gave my buddy to use it and he was surprised he says he thinks the way Nokia balanced the phone that is why you don't feel it heavy...really guys and girls the weight is no issue.
3.build their is no phone on the current market built like this...I have dropped mine 4 times twice bad drops no scratches or cracks.
4.the screen does scratch and is not fully scratch free...Also the rear of my phone shows hairline scratches
5.i Have no cover as I cant get one as yet.
6.Camera is Superb the galaxy or I phone have no chance to even dram off getting close.
7.UI is very crisp and clean...I have never had my phone freeze not even once.
8.APPS are crap that's the truth...Apple and Android are in a totally different league.
9.games are poor so far I haven't got one decent game.Again android is way ahead here.
10.sound quality and call quality superb and way better the galaxy
11.battery I have is the standard version of the phone not upgraded to the PORTICO which I know people who have say battery improves by two to three times yes it does...on current status battery is fair nothing more..In WIFI mode it draisn very fast and faster then glalxy 3 ...In 3g mode drains faster then GALAXY 3..I say the battery is average on current but I think once I get PORTIC upgrade it should be awesome.
12.Sync with outlook is a bit of a mission compared to BB and SAMSUNG.
13.lumia needs a DESKTOP lie BB and KIES.
conclusion
This phone is way ahead of windows 7.Still lacks a few things small things which make a difference to make it the real KING..With the way Nokia is doing upgrades I think this phone will soon be even better I here a big UPGRADE is coming around march which will have Notifications and few other stuff..
Overall I would not swap this phone for any other current phone..Yes it misses a few tricks that android has,,but ui is crisp and phone is built superbly...oh and that camera is just wow.
