Every tech site I ever read (except official WP fans) regarded WP7 OS as unfinished and limited. Oh, and many people from India on Nokia forums agreed with that verdict.

Answer ONE question to yourself:
If Windows Phone is so good (easy to use, functional, is integrated with Windows ecosystem), why is it so unpopular and losing market after 2 years of development? (WP7 had most of the features and mostly the same look as WP8). Remember that WP7 was pushed hard by such giant companies as Microsoft and Nokia (plus HTC, LG, Samsung). So why Windows Phone is so unpopular?
As you can see, it is not logical: good product+strong partners must lead to success. So let's think, we don't have a success and we have strong partners (at least with WP7, now Nokia is a lot weaker). That leaves us with a bad product to blame.

Also... Anyone using Gmail instead of Outlook.com deserves to be ridiculed. Same with Google Drive (Skydrive) and Google Apps (Office Web Apps).

OK, Lumia could happily survived without Google maps,but what about other wdph8 OEMs with poor bing maps ??

Google gets its revenue from ads not from the OS, the services you mentioned are also free and these cannot be stopped by Google as they fetch revenue by displaying ads in them. It doesn't matter to them what OS they are displayed on. They might stop the services temporarily but they will work out soon. As for the maps service, chill, they have already given a statement that they are working on it and as the WP Eco system grows, they will eventually make apps also. They where kicked out from iOS as well, what happened?They made a separate app. No need to get hyper. As for staying updated, i follow, arstechinca, engadget, verge and slashgear day in and day out. The moment they are updated, the moment I get the notification. The only time I miss is when I sleep. Peace :)
