Could people who own the phone please give some idea on the battery life? I am reading a lot of reports that its average.
I don't want the 920 as I love my Note 2 but my wife is keen for one but I feel the battery life wont come close to her 4S. Thanks

Well and true. Nokia lumia 920 is selling well. If they handle supply well, then i am sure they get more share in smartphone in this quarter compared to previous. Windows 8 os will be third behind android and ios and will give tough competition in coming days.

After few days of use i have nothing bad to say about the device, everything works supersmooth and battery lasts enough for a day of hard usage.
Before this phone i was using Nokias 5800 xpressmusic for 5 years, still works like the day i bought it, except better, but i felt it's time to try something new. The main 'concern' which hilariously was the weight everyone's been flaming about, turned out to be of none concern, if it weighs too much for someone they should buy gym membership instead of a real phone. Didn't play around much with the camera yet but the screen in this thing is awesome, i like it way better than the screen on my gf's ip5, even she likes my lumia better. I'm not too big of a hipster so the small amount of 120000 applications on marketplace is sufficient for me. Design on this phone is great too, it's bulky but fits my hands well and even though i took the glossy red model it still stays in my hand just great, aint slippery at all so as long as u keep your hands clean the phone aint going nowhere. Hmm what else, could say a few words about the battery life. Basically i drained the preload on the battery and recharged it over the first night, first day i was watching movies with it roughly 3,5 hours, browsed around for about the same time (boring day at work) and was downloadin all kinds of apps and stuff for it like people usually do the first day they get to play with their new toy, still 15% left after that day and im hoping for it to still get better after few more drains/recharges.
Definately worth the money and truly better than iphone5 after using both of em.

Nokia will have Sailfish/Jolla as the other option for OS along with WP8 and Symbian(for few more years).. Did u know Sailfish/Jolla can use almost all the existing Android apps available.
