adrian, 15 Nov 2012Oh come on, buy yourself a quad core if you want it so much... morePls dnt even compare dumb wp8 with beautiful iOS. Wp8 drains battery like hell nd much much damn slower than iPhone 5, becoz of two cortex a9 procesor, while iphone 5 is the fastest smartphone on the living world with two cortex a15 cores. And yes, wp8 drains battery like hell. S3's battery backup is Better than Lumia 920 - check it out guys. Hav fun.

Deleted post? Can't believe you guys, of all people, would do such a thing to me. I have been following your post rules, as far as I know.
Was I ruining your planned and about to come review for the mid-ranger, dual core L920? Or was I just dead spot-on?
All I was ranting about was why Nokia would just release a dual-core when every top phone manufacturer has their quad core already? And most, if not all, gsmarena gave a superb review and two thumbs up. Read your own reviews, guys.
Still, Nokia can't get away with this one. I'll just wait for gsmarena's review of this one now. You can't twist this one out.

Nokia lost one customer cuz of their timing..!! I have been rooting for l920 for almost 2 months now..have been waiting to buy one..i gave up ma plans to buy the iphone5 for it! But nokia hasn't released the phone in ma country yet! Let alone the device itself, no news as to when it will launch it! And that has pissed me off! Sure its one heck of a device, but man they need to launch it already! I might eventually buy the iphone 5 or htc droid dna. I have an iphone 4 and a nokia n8. Both r good in their own ways, and l920 seems like a good combo of both to me! But alas, nokia just doesn't know how to sell! May be its cuz of the later finish date of wp8, but whatever. They should foresee demand, and complete stuff in time. I'll probably wait for a week or two more. Once the droid is launched, nd 920 isnt, its either droid or iphone5!

VIC, 15 Nov 2012I'd still stand by what I said in the very first paragraph.... moreOh come on, buy yourself a quad core if you want it so much. This is WP8, not Android. It's known that WP8 doesn't need so many cores, to still being a fast OS. If you believe in the number of cores as the most important thing to performe, than so be it. This phone has a dual core, which is enough to run smoothly. Not the same operating systems, so they both systems doesn't need the same hardware. Why people say the iPhone 5 is the fastest phone, faster than competitors, while it has only a dual core? Anyway, Nokia Lumia 920, be available here soon!

Vote for.....
The One who give more importance to their flagship phone design (Nokia).
OR
the One who give importance to their customers by adding extra facilities like memory card slot, replaceable battery, FM Radio etc etc. to their flagship phone (Samsung).

VIC, 15 Nov 2012I'd still stand by what I said in the very first paragraph.... more:). You make me laugh.:)) It is nice to see people believing everything they see, you can get trusted to lie them with what so ever. Hitler is the proof of how a mass manipulation works, and works quite super well! So don't try to tell me that allot of people are buying. Are buying cause they don't have a mind of their own to chose. You need to read more about cores cause right now i think you don't understand the usage of them. Yes you are right, there are like cores and ram fight out in the market, but that is just for the mass, and it is really far behind the meaning of technology. Manufactures make what people have learn to ask, cause they are weak and look for a quick buck. People ask without knowing cause they learned that bigger means better. I can say without shame that 70% of them will never use the phone for what that "magnificent" quad is made and exactly the same percentage will never know how their gadget work or even how to use it, besides facebook, tweeter and playing games. A quad is really unneeded in a smartphone, it is pure waste of time and science. The most usage of a multicore is in multitasking (thing at what android is quite dumb) and games. To bad that in the market there are to few games that take advantage of a quadcore. Most of them don't even know what that is and use only one or maximum 2 cores of that cpu. Maybe the last android firmware is smart enough to manage the 4 cores in a way to boost the system up, just maybe, cause i don't see THE BIG DIFFERENCE. So, the expression with the motion of the ocean is perfect here. Is not the cores that matters, but how you use them! So, LG? Samsung? far behind Nokia, to far in matter of technology and innovations. That is also why Nokia is so stubborn into not using android. Cause it is just a sucky system. Even though i'm pretty shore Nokia will do something with that crapp to work flawlessly, but after that, everybody will steal the technology:-J

[deleted post]you have got to be one of the most stupid people i have come across here. i mean what is your obsession with quad cores? are you mad? do you even need it? nobody needs it in windows phone you know why? because its a very efficient os and is not like android which requires a lot of processing to get fast. use 920 in a shop and you will know why it doesnt need quad cores. its the most responsive phone i have ever had my hands on. i owned S3, have used Note2 and iphone but none of them come close to the snapiness of lumia 920. its super duper quick and load everything in a few mili seconds. i have never been a fan of windows but even i have to admit what they have acheived with this is just brilliant. and 32gb storage is more than enough for 90% of the users. please stop trolling, your comments are just absurd.

Carol, 15 Nov 2012Hey Vic, sorry to tell you but your kind of verry wrong. I ... moreI'd still stand by what I said in the very first paragraph. Every phone that has a 4.5” or higher screen should have a quad core. As in now. Right in the heat of smartphone wars were every one wants to be called the top smartphone of all.
Even Nexus 4, with a 4.7" screen, and adjudged as the god of all Androids, has a quad core now.
Not anymore a question of battery drains faster, still laggy even if it has 4 cores or dual core is enough crap. You wanna be called flagship and be the best, put on a quad core. I assure you, it will sell. Examples are S3 and Nexus 4.
Look at how gsmarena rated the HTC One X+. It's the complete package. Hey, it's got quad cores. And it will sell.
What I've been jawing about is that Nokia wanted to top every one with a dual core just about now when every top dog has quad cores. Never gonna happen. Nokia blew this one.
Unless they put out something now that has 4 cores or more. Goodbye, Nokia.
For the record, I still bought your 808 Pureview 6 days ago. Out of loyalty to Symbian. That's the price you pay for abandoning the best mobile OS, you go down now.
