Pardon my ignorance, but can i use a Lumia 920 in India if I buy an UNLOCKED version from US?
Best Buy is offering non-activated Lumia 920 @ USD 600. Can I buy this and get it unlocked and use it in India?

just imagine what will happen to Nokia Maps if... moreif nokia wud have gone for andy then people wud have no choice other than androidy.ios is just for high end....rest of the smartphone lovers wud have simply ended up with android....at present only other alternative to android is wp.....except for the high end.and wp8 is going to handle this responsibility wid its full potential wid incentives by ms and nokia.well done nokia!

Anyway, Lumia 920 is one of the best phone yet..

They just allowed Nokia (and anyone else) to implement their OS exactly the way how they offer it, with an exception of a tiny UI customizing, (eg, touchwiz or sense). That means Nokia would not be able to change, design and adapt any software piece to fit their hardware criteria. But Nokia unlike Samsung, Htc, etc, functions as a big entity including one of the best soft development dept in the world and an amazing R&D with focus on innovations (inventions). The android way would be just a cpu/ram competition with others. Microsoft offered to Nokia dev team permission to develop and change WP and to write their amazing apps on it any way they need. It's very clear that Elop's choice is damn logic and absolutely right.

this nokia lumia l920 is good phone. but if sony xperia "odin" "yuga" "dogo" coming out. will be world number 1 high and powerfull phone. because now still japanese use high full 1080p display( jdi ) for sony . because
me for sony and nokia fanboys.

Apart from their high end lumia 920 &820, Nokia should added few budget phones from wdp8 platform at the time of releasing the above lumias (opinion only).
Coz, literate peoples may not find interest in buying the already outdated window 7.5 phone now,
as the big issue has arises over wdp7.5 & wdp8 fragmented platform and their application utilities.
