In all hands on tests, they have pretty much forbid the people from actually showing off the OS. There was a SDK/emulator leaked out, but the build is many months old. It seems MS has some secret features we've yet to see.

This allows it to use apps similar to those you can get for Windows 8 for Laptops, PCs and tablets. Some WP 8 phones will be equipped with an SD card slot (Though not the lumia 920) which WP 8 supports, but 7.8 will not. WP 8 will have IE 10, the latest IE browser, but it looks like 7.8 will only have IE 9. WP 7.8 will not see a large increase in apps from app developers other than manufacturer apps (Like nokia) whereas WP 8 will constantly be getting new apps.

Fact!, 10 Oct 2012Fatal mistake Nokia for not going with Android, they have t... moreAndroid OS is a subpar OS that only became big because it came out copying iOS's design before anyone else did. WP 7 and WP 8 are innovative OSs with UIs which actually differ from the norm while still being intuitive and usable. It's smoother, nicer to look at (Widgets are awful things to have) but still customisable with live updated tiles.

They've actually chosen to back the best OS rather than the biggest. I just really want this to work out for both parties because they've both managed to make the best phone on the market
