AnonD-7829, 27 Sep 2012Perhaps. Intel still has a fairly long way to go though bef... moreIts true that Intel will have a long time to take gain reputation in Mobile Industry...
But i really admire how Intel created their super fast processors (esp. their latest i7-extreme hexa core processors and their ivy bridge processors). I can't really wait for Intel to create a processor for mobile phones that has the same speed with their ivy bridges processors(or even closer speed) and Windows 8 really works great with Intel's Processor.
Right now i all ready tried using Windows 8 Enterprise in my Netbook with Intel Atom N270:1.6 Ghz Single core processor and it is really great but there are also some limitations in this processor.
Hoping to see the Intel-MIcrosoft-Nokia Alliance in 2013!

AnonD-51629, 27 Sep 2012 Microsoft and Nokia Teamed up to create a smartphone that ... morePerhaps. Intel still has a fairly long way to go though before they can compete in mobile chips like these. There is a recently released/announced Motorola I think that has an intel inside, but it couldnt really stand up against the best Qualcomms and whatnots.
However, I see Intel might have a good opening with Windows 8 tablets. If they can make a good enough mobile x86 chip (no, not Atom :D), that will mean that Win 8 tablets could run normal Windows executables instead of just tablet marketplace apps. If performance can still stay good in said tablets and it still has the strengths of a tablet, that would be real cool.
I'm personally really looking at a Microsoft Surface tablet, however I'll probably get the RT version, cos the Pro version will probably be outside my budget but also takes a lot longer before it's released. But the pro version is basically an i5 Ivy Bridge in a tablet!

Microsoft and Nokia Teamed up to create a smartphone that can battle with other OSes like IOS and Androids. and it is likely to happen that Intel will join the alliance of Nokia and Microsoft. We all know that Intel is having a hard time in powering smart phones against Qualcomms processors so there's a great possibility that Intel would join Nokia and Microsoft.
And we all know that Intel's processors are powering Windows OS for many years, so WP OS would be best if powered by Intel's Processor plus the technology and build quality of Nokia = the best Smart phone in the World!
Cant imagine these three companies that is struggling in mobile phone business will team up in future!:D
--Hoping it will happen............

just a question about the screen of the Lumia 920. I know that they are using a new technology for its screen which enables the user to use it with gloves or any pointing object. how about wet hands? will it still track my fingers?

Nothing wrong with Symbian but its nice to have an extended App selection as found in Droid and Apple IOS. Personally I feel Symbian and Android are equally reliable despite the occasional hiccups. Windows Phone is catching up to the leaders from what I hear.

infact Symbian has only one king (Nokia) that was foolishly killed, and to compete with multiple Zombies of Wdp8 OS....... just for survival and not to rule is a dead decision.

Sth I hate 'bout Nokia; they design & manufacture the best phone possible to date and launch it after it has become a mid-range. Anyway, this time it's Microsoft's bad.

Sophorn, 26 Sep 2012 I disappointed with nokialumia920 some , such as it NO hav... more32gb internal. Other phones give you 16 and 8. Gs3 wins with 64 + 64 but 32 is a lot. There is internet radio plus free nokia music. Low memory? It has 1gb ram. Thats standard. Most nowadays is 2gb but windows run butter smooth on 256mb. Tv out? Not sure. It probably does. Nokia apps are free. What are you talking about? The only negative about this phone is that it is unreleased. Go to engadget to see how it compares to samsung htc and apple. Nokia has best screen. Best camera. And best music. Am def getting this phone
