Ativ S has an SD card slot, AMOLED screen (not necessarily better, but I for one prefer them over other alternatives), lighter (once again a preferance, I prefer heavier), but then again you trade away the better camera, color options and design (again personal preference, but I think Lumia design is far cooler). Also it has no USB OTG, but not everyone even has use for it. Then again Ativ has built in radio if you listen to it, I dont :D Also Ativ has no 4G, which might be a turn off for some. Performance should be pretty similar in both phones. Ativ might have a bit better battery life.
Anyways, it's definitely a good choice too, just depends on your own needs and preferences, also I guess pricing might end up different which might make or break the deal for some.

I went to the store to try out the Lumia 900 (not 920 yet :D) cos I was curious about the weight. It felt quite light for it's size. Now, 920 is only like 20g heavier and also a tad bigger screen. I think the weight is extremely welcome, it makes huge difference in how the phone feels.
My friend has a Samsung Galaxy Nexus that has like a 4,7" screen and only weights 130g, my God that feels like a toy! My N8 weights the same, but its so much smaller so it feels much more appropriate.
I like myself a heavier phone.

Anonymous, 17 Sep 2012GPRS and EDGE only Class 12. Very Slow.From which cave you came here......still using GPRS BTW no matter what class of GPRS or EDGE it have your operator should also support that speed to get good browsing speed which most operators fail to provide
