LosHo, 11 Sep 2012I see that you have no experience with heavy phones. take ... moreyes it is heavy with respect to the other phones for example S3 (133g)

but i seriously doubt that people will take a such puny disadvantage that it's 52g heavier

seriously what is wrong with you people?

This phone is made by high quality metal. Which is used in aero plane . So high durability . Not like Samsung plastic crap . so the weight is worth here

take and compare iPhone 4 , Galaxy S2 /3 and this 185g Nokia...

I dont know the price but by default will be high.

Just face it. This phone is too heavy for smart phone. and do not compare it with Note 2 because they are simply different levels. Note is 5.5 and btw is lighter than NOkia 920 hahhaahahah sorry but this is the facual data... ;)

btw I love Nokia and I am neither Sammy nor Apple fanboy.

Anonymous, 11 Sep 2012did you said king of copycat samdungyou are damn right, sammy is a king of copycat. actually they copied everything from other companies! for example, the shape. rectangular shape with rounded corners was discovered by apple, i don't deny that. this is why nokia manufacturers phones with weird shares like circular, oval, pyramid, and many others that have never been seen on the face of this planet. e.g sammy copied stuff like smarteye, s-voice, the s-pen and its blazing new class of features that the world will see importance of when it's still too late for them(maybe in 2015), and many others. in fact samsung should have made something else with names like s3 and note2 but not call it a "phone" because this word has existed before! yes samsung is a king of copycat and no one denies that. that's why i'll be reasonable enough to stick to my collection of copied but perfectly working and satisfying features rather than blindly and foolishly follow useless expensive "inovation". no hard feelings though-i already agreed samy copies!

NNooooO!!!! I was expecting an FM Reciever in the 920 :( pretty much all Windows Phones have it already. I am someone who isn't always in Wifi signal, and travel... Data would not be an option. I always listened to the radio. :( oh well I guess... tech moves on. But still... its not like FM radio is dead or anything. lol

If os inside lumia 920 would be android, the popularity meter would be double what 920 have today.

Of course you can listen to the radio on the 920 by installing TuneIn Radio.
You reckon the screen on the S3 is a lot bigger and brighter? It's only 0.3 of an inch bigger and the brightness of the S3 is actually around half that of the 920. The S3 is around 330 nits and the 920 is 600 nits. If you don't already know, nits is the unit of measurement of digital displays.

Have you actually read anything about the camera on the 920? It is unique in that it is the only phone to feature Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) which guarantees blur free photos and allows for better night time and low light photography. It's also great for shooting videos whilst on the move and gives the effect of the camera being mounted on a trolly.

You also forgot to mention that the 920 is the first phone to support wireless charging using the QI standard. And the fact that it supports pentaband 4G. Does your precious SGS 3 have this? No, all it has is an impending law suit for copying Apple's design.

Interesting. Impressive too. But what i dont like is class 12 gprs. Yup im using 3G but coverage is still limited in the vast country of mine. Towns and interstate highways got only Gprs and EDGE. Class 12 gprs is as bad as any Samsung. Previous Nokia had class 33.

This is an amazing phone indeed, if this has the functionality of android then I might just buy it and use it instead of my SGS3. I like the tiles but if it's like with itunes? I mean same headache all over again!!! Then it's a no no for me.....
