dee, 21 Jan 2014can somebody tell me how it's battery life is compared to i... morei have a lumia 920 that i carry in work an even the 4g is on within 8 hours and at my home the wifi is on for 24/7 the battery of this phone still rocks i charge it every other day it last for 8 hours in a day with using wifi texting and even skype.

Between all smartphones just one phone can compete Lumia 920 and its Lumia 1520,nothing else.
I love my white one and knocked down all other phones of my friends with its performance.
Nokia always and forever.

I bought my lumia920 last April 2013.With my Lumia920 updated to Amber, the battery life of my phone up to date was great, or excellent. I can browse internet through wifi 4.5 hours continuously (includes texting, downloading games, checking facebook). that's one reason why I stick on Nokia.

Yesterday i got official Black update. Even I'm able to use 4G, which was not there originally.
But there is a prob in hardware, its Flashlight is not working, even for camera as well as flashlight app. But sometimes it works for few seconds and then goes off.
Does anyone know what had happened to it? Do i have to replace camera and flash together?

The phone had good battery and could Last full day from 5:30 AM to 11 PM. However, now I have installed Lumia Black update and power consumption is 5-6% per hour when idle. More if I am using the phone. Just a basic news reading results in a drain of 7-8% every 20 minutes. Any ideas of battery after Lumia Black update.

At first I liked this phone but after having it for months I can say I wish I would have bought a Galaxy or iphone, I will be selling this phone soon just do to its little short comings. I will say great camera and great speed for what it has.

can somebody tell me how it's battery life is compared to iphone 5?
i own iphone 5, and i want a lumia 920 too, but i don't want it to run out within 4 hours. i want to be able to go to work with the lumia from 7 am and be home at 6 pm and have at least 15% left of normal texting, web browsing and checking facebook + twitter during the day without wifi on.
