I am Nokia fan since 1998 and want them to succeed but they keep letting their fans down..To be honest a lot of people travelled a long way to this event and I feel they have been let down..I mean was there any need for the event??
Come on Nokia get with it or be honest and say its Windows hampering your efforts.Maybe you need to invest/buy/takeover Jolla...??
anyone ever see Andy Burgin have not seen him in years I respected and agreed a lot with him.

Why do Nokia keep shooting themselves in the foot.. A few examples,
N95 had weak gps poor battery and 50% of owners had floppy plastic casing..
N96 was a brilliant gadget smartfone with all them gadgets but super poor battery life.
N97 had rubbish C-Disk space and ultra low RAM.
E90 with no graphics acceleration and was painfully slow but a brilliant if not the best designed smartfone ever..
N8 had good GPU let down by not enough memory to run it causing out of memory errors.
Elop crushes Symbian with his burning platform speech without having something in place to take over in its place the big buffoon.
Nokia give up on Meego which should have been their flagship O/S..
I could go on but years later they still shoot themselves in the foot with this device going backwards and most not getting Xenon.

AnonD-71150, 14 May 2013i dont understand why ppl are so upset..we knew about 2-3 m... morebecause the 925 and 928 was almost exactly the same as the 920 and we didnt know that, which is very disappointing, i dont know who would buy the 925 with 16gb and no sd card and everything else but the metal is the same as the 920.
Now the 928, almost the same as the 920 again but with xenon flash?
How disappointing as nokia will make people pay $600+ for a new phone thats almost the same as the 6 month old nokia 920.

Its not lumia 930. its lumia 925 the updated version of lumia 920. Nokia actually made a lumia 920 with better specifications like making it with amoled screen, making it slim, less in weight & giving it an aluminium body (nokia really did a fantastic job making it with aluminium body & also making it less in weight than most other high end android phones which are made of really less in weight plastic) but nokia could have made it better by adding a memory card slot, removable battery, 13mp camera with xenon flash, bluetooth 3.1, gorilla glass 3.
I know nokia cant make a phone with quad core cpu or full hd screen because windows 8 doesnt support them so nokia will have to focus more on these items if they want to do better in the market.

One new great phone from Nokia, as I expected Lumia 920 with aluminium body and AMOLED display with no wirelles charging... But know I see there are more : software and hardware camera change, fm radio, smart camera app, more front side camera than 928...

Yeah its a good phone with a metal body .I m a nokia's biggest fan but they doesn't keep on
Improving the phone they just keep on giving new features .instead of 8 mp camera atleast they should have given 10 mp or 12mp camera with xenon flash .32gb of memory with a card slot,2gb of ram.the main thing with the price rhey have only given a dual core proceccer .with the price they should give quad core processer.a 5 inch screen.it is a good phone having the the best features but going on with the price they should have given the best features .the main thing of nokia's smartphone is the price .I think they should go on improving their smartphones like the samsung companyreally.but from nokia lumia 920 all lumias are the best smartphones. the cheap one 's are the best then the galxy-y and other smart phone's under 20,000 Rs-.tje nokia company should produce their smartphones on watching the generation and keep on improving their smartphones

I am also a Nokia Fan.But nokia launching the Lumia Phones only & its not so good phone as much as the Android Phones.. Because earlier i am using the Nokia Lumia510. I thought the phone is very much better then the other OS.. But when i am start to use the phone it is not much better then Android. In that der is only limited feature is gvn by the Nokia Team. Suppose if u download any song on the UC Web Browser den u can not open it on the Music Player. Even supoose if ur frnd sending u some song or videos on Whats app den dat also not open in music player & video player. So thats why the Lumia Phones are not better den Android.. I am very dispointed with the lumia OS.. The phone is very well but the feature in that is the limited feature... Better den dat is the Symbian OS is very nice & i think very much bettrer...

[deleted post]FM radio comes with WP8 update that will be released this summer, probably in June. All Lumia phones will get FM radio, except 610. It was known fact that Lumias have radios built-in but the OS has no support for it, yet.

Nokia with Symbian OS is flexible to use than.... the Complex Windows 8 OS...which is a white elephant with only 16gb memory and above it all.. with much restrictions and Not User friendly.

I'm a big fan for Nokia and Windows phone OS, I have a 920, and I couldn't sleep the night b4 the announcement cz I was so excited!!!!!
BUT, I'm very disappointed now!!! the phone is so sexy, but wtf are these:
- "non removable" 2000 mah, really? how to compete the "others" with that?
- 16 GB without expandable storage!!!!!
- almost nothing new with the cam since the smart shot functionality (that they bombed the stage with) is going with all other Lumias!!!!!!
- the built-in wireless charging gone and replaced with cover! really?
- dual LED flash instead of Xenon!!
- 1.2 front facing cam?????!!!!!!
- no HDMI, tv-out etc!
after all that waiting, it's been JUST another 920-like for another carriers!!!
maybe they will announce a 41MP phone with 8GB storage and 1300 mAh battery, who knows?

This is a t... moreIt is not there because Windows Phone doesn't need it right now. Since Nokia owns the hardware and works closely with Microsoft, their optimization is far more then that of Android which needs more hardware to work which also increases the cost.
For example, Samsung Galaxy S4 is available for around 42k while Lumia 920 is available for 32k in India and yet Lumia 920 runs smoother then Android.

i dont understand why ppl are so upset..we knew about 2-3 months that 925 will be lighter version of 920 and that 928 will be same as 925 but only for US market ..so what are you complaining about?
