been using the 925 for 2weeks nw... SHOCKED that it don't even have the basic function of locking the screen auto rotate... so irritated that i have to keep the phone vertical to use it... can't lie in bed to use... no file manager how to browse the file i loaded into the phone??? omg really regret buying the nokia lumia 925... windows apps store is crapped compared to android playstore and apple apps store..

Its better you opt Windows because threats/malwares are low.

Compared it with Samsung Galaxy SIII - dual core processor vs smsung's quad core means battery will last longer. Dual core is powerful enough. Very tight integration of the OS with all apps except Whatsapp, but that not really a problem. Both cameras are fantastic. Try windows phone 8. Its worth it.

im totally confused which mobile to buy.. is nokia lumia 925 good?? i mean,, which do u think is better-windows or android?? and will the wallpaper be the windows one?? or can we change it?? what about apps?? i heard android has better apps.. please do help!

Alas!! my 33k has gone to waste. crappy windows phone ,no apps of work ,no good games ,no file manager, most apps are paid. flv , mov and other codecs wont play(player wont be available on store so no use). No youtube downloader ,cannot download mp3 from any site other than nokia music which has only 8 months free subscription .can not download videos ,any file to be download is saved on sky drive only( so torrent download is use less until you have high speed wifi which is costly). cannot download any other file types as it says you don't have permission. windows os is very bad ,i'm sooooo sad!! :,-( sob!! very bad!! plesae don't buy and regret think smart,go android or ios (if you think about nokia ,Microsoft, windows ,sophisticasy ,looks,or being uncommon and end up buying 925 even after reading this comment!! then remember me i'm "SONU" whose words you have ignored.(BECAUSE EVERY ONE WHO BUYS WINDOWS PHONE ARE HURT BY THE DRAWBACK OF WINDOWS OS)I'm soooooooooo sad !!! sob!! Sob!!! very bad!!!!!

Why.... in right side bing search option in every WP8.. Why why why... no use.. useless..... Please Microsoft... remove bing search & Add a good option like File Manager, Call/Dialing option....

All of what you said can be seen (screenshots) or read in the reviews, whether here on gsmarena or elsewhere. It's a matter of personal taste. So once again, it's rather sad to read you actually bought the phone while you could know all this, then start complaining at the phone and OS, while the only to blame in this case... is actually yourself. Bart_D7, 09 Sep 2013After your post and discussion with friend who owned WIndow... moreIf you are going to believe him,who uses the phone for just few days,than i cant do much.firstly,im not a fanboy of any OSes.Be it Android,iOS,Symbian,WP.Tested all of them.Basically,for WP,if you just want to use the phone with less tinkering but expect the phone to be smooth after turnign the power on.925 would be the best choice.Any Android user knows,if you dont tinker with it,you dotn get the best out of it.Android meant for tinkering.iOS and WP are in for the same type of user,less tinkering,just slip in the Sim Card,then use it,dont worry bout anything else.thats how it is.
I believe you can make your judgment by trying the phoen at any dealer first.go Ahead and try.Dont believe those who dont understand the basic of the phone itself.Spend some time,go and try,you might fell in love with it.

I've been a loyal Nokia supporter and I am just fed up with the windows os. It has proven to be very annoying in usability and somewhat worse than cumbersome, much else worse than BB's platform. I cannot help but call it a day and stuff my lumia 925 into the drawer where it shall rot with my n9.

Probably this is my last nokia phone because i'm not sure after the turnover with microsoft it would have a quality as good as nokia did..maybe this week it will be mine.(; it sad to say but Thanks Nokia and goodbye..
