Loadingzone, 21 Jun 2014I just don't understand why the 930 or any other new Lumia ... moreWhich means that the 1520 is a better deal than the 930. Thanks for pointing that out.
Don't forget the non-removable battery issues that is still holding Nokia back.

I just don't understand why the 930 or any other new Lumia for that matter does NOT take a microSD card? Even the humble 520 takes a microSD card but not the 930?

One of the big talking points of WP8.1 is that, unlike 8.0, you could store apps on the microSD card!

The 930 is asking you to gamble; for 2 years if you buy it on contract, that all of your apps, data, media files, and the OS itself are not going to ever exceed 32GB.

There just is no logic to this.

                          Aadrian, 17 Jun 2014No, it's not removableShocker... Non-removable battery.
So the top Lumia that has a removable battery is still Lumia 820 - my current phone. Can't wait for a new Flagship Lumia that has removable battery. :/

alam, 19 Jun 2014My family is Lumia freak. My wife has 520, I use 720, my da... morehi alam! the two (930/Icon and 1520) kind of share the same hardware specifications. some aspects that you might keep in mind however are that 930 has a 5' led screen which means less energy consumption but it also lacks Glance screen, while the 1520 uses a 6' clasic IPS LCD. another important difference between the two is the battery life time, which on Icon was already reportat it's nothing out of the ordinary while the 1520 sits comfty at the top of GSMarena's ranking. i myself am using a 920 and i'm also looking forward to upgrade at some point but as things look for the moment i'll think i will go with the 1520, despite the weight and size, because of that huge battery :D cheers and Lumia on!
