Great phone great specs but tomorrow is the day for getting its rival a micromax 1080p snapdragon 800 processor
do micromax go for huge pricing or will stay at their 18K odd pricing
just want micromax to come big with windowspgones with greater efficient snapdragon processors
using of mediatek made some people to stay out of micromax in android category
will the things change lets see

Lumia 1520 is my first Windows phone and I am amazed by its performance :)

Nokia's more simplistic approach does not require that much horsepower and focuses more on sustained phone use. Also, the 801 itself uses a lot more battery power than the 800

The Snapdragon 800 is a beast on Windows Phone. You can't go wrong, the Lumia 930 and Samsung Galaxy S5 are the best phones their respective companies can offer. It all comes down to your personal preference.

Why this handset is more bulky then the 925 and more thik. It is more heaver then the previous model.

This is the best SP on the market... Greatest resolution per inch, much higher than iPhone 5s, much ram, higher CPU, best picture lense than Galaxy S5. Cheaper than iPhone but same price than Galaxy. And yet.. People will continue buying those...

I still have a Lumia 900 and yet it much faster than a Galaxy S3... That sais everything... It's like Mac vs. PC. iOS is much lighter than W7 or W8. An i5 on an Apple will be much faster than an i7 on W8.1

Even the lower end WP devices deliver an incredibly fast experience compared to Android. Android simply needs better specs to deliver a smooth experience, therefore it won't matter at all this Lumia 930 has a snapdragon 800.

Dear all,
Can someone please explain to me why this mobile phone has an 800-processor while e.g. the Samsung S5 has an 801?
Will this mobile not deliver (much) lower specs compared to the S5? Or works Windows Phone 8.1 as good as Android 4.4.2 with a less advanced processor?

Release date in Denmark is 23.06.2014 and i have already preorder it the price, wait for it........... 6100 Kr. And with a service provider you can get it for about 4000 Kr. So I'm looking forward to the 23.06.2014 it'll be like Christmas that day...

I have waited for more than 3 months for the Lumia 930. The strategy is very poor and one of the reasons for the poor sale. The Samsung S5 was announced and released within a month, the same with Apple 5s. By the time Lumia 930 is finally released, no one will be interested anymore as potential consumers would have committed themselves to a new contract on either the S5 or HTC M8 or Iphone. Change your 20th century strategy, Nokia/Microsoft.
