Latest Production Windows 10 version 1709 is highly recommended.
This is the same version (identically) of the Lumia 950/xl.
And by the way I compared Lumia 930 to both 950 and XL , and I can confirm 930 is faster than 950 (due to the QHD Display) , and on par with the XL.
The point is Lumia 930 runs Win 10 like the high ends 950/xl in terms of reliability.

no problem after updating to windows 10 creators update ver. 1703
no microphone issue since my hardware revision ver. 2.0.0.2 still a best phone for 2017.

Pudina, 30 Oct 2017How do I know if my phone has Windows 10 ? Download upgrade advisor from store, rest it'll tell u, whether it does support windows 10 or not, as far as Lumia 930 goes, it does.

At windows 8.1 the facebook does not work well, messenger and skype does not work at all.
The system can be upgraded to windows 10. I upgraded to windows 10 and it works the facebook, messenger and skype too.
Unfortunatelly the HERE apps don`t work because they decided to not support windows 10. I read something that it can be hacked that way that HERE apps would work.
Until then I will use WAZE...

Doncas, 29 Sep 2017Yes, it can be replaced.I had the same issue more than a year ago. It was caused by faulty hardware. I took it to the Nokia Service store and they changed the screen for free (even though it was past the warranty date and the screen had a small crack in the corner from a drop). I was so happy!

Does anyone know if it is possible to repair the mic for the speaker without replacing the whole screen? I can have a conversation when it is in normal phone mode but when I try to use the speaker, I can hear the other person but he/she cannot hear me. Nokia say I have to replace the screen as the mic for the speaker is embedded into the top of the screen. Any suggestions please?
