The same phone with a DUAL GSM+GSM for 4G LTE with a higher capacity removable battery, and most important, OS, as android. This combo is cost effective and very effective market penetrating smart phone with the same quality standards. Trust me, a thumping revival is guaranteed.

it's because it has the qi wireless charging. they took it out of some lumias to make them thinner but people kept adding the optional qi charging plate which made them thicker again.

It got HD screen over 400 ppi and has wi-fi AC in it! I just hope the GSM model will come soon after the Verizon model!

I am a 928 owner. I believe the thickness of the phone is due to the camera lens - you can't make a top notch optical lens too thin, simply impossible with current technology. One big big disappointment on the "non-removable battery" feature - if we users can't bring a few backup batteries when we are out touring or playing, we just can't take the superb phone camera seriously because we have to preserve the energy for normal phone usage - therefore the camera is just a "niche" feature of Lumia phones.

Thickness 10.5mm that means it should have good battery, and is that a global version? And what about front facing camera mp? No memory card slot?

My wife ha a Verizon Lumia and I have Samsung android. I have used both and after using both, my next phone is definitely going to be a lumia. It does have all* the apps i need and i just like the UI, how smooth it is and for most part, it does not crash like my android does. Camera app won't open when i need it the most on my android.

Does anyone know is it possible to buy Verizon phones without any contract and use them abroad - in Canada or Europe for example?
