I've had mine since it first came out and upgraded it first to Windows 8.1, then Windows 10 preview, and finally Windows 10. My best phone ever and I've been using cell phones since the old bag phones.

Now it is upgradable to Windows phone 10! Just updated this god-forgotten lumia phone! And its perfect! The bad sides of this phone is not the best battery and very Bad quality front camera.. you cant do a good selfie with your girlfriend on dat phone.. :(

I saw some posts about the phone screen going blank during a call, mine does the same and I click on the power button because the lockscreen closes the screen after 1 minute,this is annoying . I looked in the setting and under Personalization tab, lockscreen you can increase the lockscreen time from 1 minute to never, this may help.

AnonD-532079, 30 Apr 2016Looking to upgrade my Icon because the battery is losing it... moreI just upgraded my Icon to Windows 10 Mobile. Go to your phones Store and download the Windows 10 updater app, run the app, it will check for compatibility, it then direct you to phone update on the phone: the down load will begin. It takes two hours to download and another to install and setup, you will not be able to use the phone during this time. The next day the next and newest update(10.0.10586.494) will arrive via the automatic windows/firmware update, takes another hour or so. I agree, the 950 series is the last Lumina and Windows Surface should arrive in September or so. I looked at the 950xl and it looks tempting but not for $650: the Lumina Icon maybe my last Windows phone.

Looking to upgrade my Icon because the battery is losing its longevity & I can no longer upgrade the OS. Still a great phone & have yet to see a phone that can do better. The 950 falls short in most areas. I will have to wait for a "Surface Phone" or new HP phone & suffer a midday recharge of my Icon until a flagship is released.
