Iv had this phone for a while now. Loaded the n70 Music Edition firmware on it and its awesome. Only problem is the terrible sound quality!

this phone supports GPS but i don-t know how to make it work...i downloaded nokia maps but it needs to download aditional software...please help

a friend bought me this phone and i dont like it.
- its too heavy for my liking
- it can be too slow, especially when opening the gallery
- The battery is TERRIBLE. doesnt last long
- typing is not easy with that small keypad, yet tha phone is BIG
- Its not a lady-like phone for me. ladies, this is a MALE phone, seriously
The positive thind about about this phone that i find is:

I have just bought an N70.
Incoming MMS is very tiny like 4 or 5 KB. How can I set my cell to receive the images in their original sizes.
Can anyone guide me please ????

Then I made a huge mistake, I bought a 2GB and its completely useless. Now I have to buy another one, 1 GB this time.

to ghost,
the phone will accept only 1 GB memory card...my card has 512 Mb and i think that`s enough for music...2 Gb are not suported...

i have this phone since 2006 and i have no problem with it...the camera its ok and i had no problems with any type of software i installed on it...

My cellphone is N70 and i have been using it for a year now, unfortunately.. one day, it didn't work, tried to on but there were no coming out from the LCD except that the lights were on. Is there anybody who can help me out here?

1s of all the newer Nseries devices also allow installation of Symbian apps,difference being the newer have MORE security.
2nd You CAN NOT update the OS to OS9.1 . I thnk u confused that with an FW update.
3rd the newer Symbians are A LOT faster than the N70 because they have better CPUs (hardware) and software.
Otherwise the N70 is an amazing device.

The phone it's ok for a symbian but it's very slow once u install diferent apps on it...try not to update your symbian to the latest symbian version from nokia.com cause it really sucks. i tried it (on a n70 MusicEdition) and i had to look up on the net for an older version to downgrade it for 3 days. the best version of symbian for this phone should be in my oppinion the v9.1 one.
