hi
for one thing i know is style statement acc r=to me is more in n70 music edition as i have just migrated from se k750i
no doubt it takes 1-2sec more than se phone but it is not crappy otherwise nokia would not have invested money in further promoting this phone by giving u 1 gb card along with cool looking black body
this is a computer like mobile so u may need to format it sometimes after a few months or after virus attack(which is rare as nokia gives u norton antivirus live free with the set)
i had one and formatted both phone and mmc card and now it is even more faster than the original seetings with which i recieved the phone
so the thing to be underlined is
if u need bigger screen , good music player with fully functional remote control go for it(not to mention free 1 gb card)

(even thogh i had a few problems i can never say it is a crappy phone as it do make STYLE STATEMENT-u have to hold it to belive it and camera is faster than se -that is gauranteeed)

Hi people i visit this site every day and i would like to know about the Music Edition of this fone
- Can you sync songs into it by using the windows media player
-when you connect it to the computer does it show up as a removable hard drive in the My Computer application
-if the music edition really sucks can you recommend any other music phone i have a long list of phones that i am willing to buy i already have the Nokia 5300 which sucks so i am going to buy one of the following SE W810,SE W850, Nokia 3250, and the Nokia N70 Music Edition and i am trying to eliminate the crappy ones so help me out guys

he guys just take backup of all ur files
via tools>memory>backup
very imp
somehow all my work was saved due to backup facilty
but jars files are risky
this mobile looks so cool that i still love it so much even after so much trouble
rem to have backup before any install
good for u only

hey guys
i learned it hard way
dont install jar applications
somehow they tend to ruin the phone
mine is somehow half ruined
all applications are working nicely but i cant delete any of these now
they get deleted but somehow they are there again
wil try a hard format and tell 2moro what happened to tehset..

My N70 music edition is very slow But it is very stylish phone. I dont know what to do with it, when i try to download any music player it doesn't work. Please HELP ME OUT..

@all guys and gals
freinds i have found it on net
do it to increase perormance
(1)backup all data on memory card before doing it and possibly all the serials of all the applications on paper if req
(2)now do it

and yes
ur phone will be formatted and now recover ur backup(tool>memeory>backup)
it will help u all having slowing of phone with aging like slowing after 4-5mnths of age
also try to get phone updated as frequently as a month or so..

i completely agree with u
no doubt it iss one of the slower phone but the best phone too
i had sek750i but missed applications and bigger brighter screen so much i decided to go to black n70me
i have installed some 20 applications and few 5-7 games (mind it alll more than 3mb with heavy graphic demands and they work wonders
for slow with aging

i've been using my N70 for five months and i have noticed that its slow. even on start up, my moto v3x is even faster. if you change your theme it will take you longer. i bought 1gb of mmc but still it's slow.
i will highly recommend Nokia 6288 than n70. think about it guys.

hi yes gallery and camera is slow
than k750i
many sites say k750i camera is better
but believe me at 2mp hardly any difference and camera is faster compared to auto focus still blurred out pics of k750i
camera takes pics in fraction of seconds
but algorithms take a lot of time so images are half the size as i used to get on k750i and sharper than these
my niece is 1.5yrs old and i like clicking her pics
they coming better with n70me
except the 3-4sec delay
but then sequence comes to help
i have taken 12pics on go with sequence wen sites mention it to be 6 at the most
sequence takes at 2mp resolution only
best thing of n70me is video
awesome video
even in low light
awesome clearity
(acyuaaly it is same clearity as we used to have on video casstes or vhs or vcr quality in mp4 format
believe me it is fabulous
k750i is just low res. 3gp
well u can decide now which way to go...

Great phone. If nokia can produce n70i having additional features like autofocus, xenon flash, vga video recording with 30fps ,wifi , tvout & fm recording feature with price @ 500$. Trust me it will be a world beater.

when you say it only has one alarm - does it not have a snooze feature where it can go off every 10 minutes until you turn it off?
also does this phone have flight mode on it so it can be used on a plane?

Hi there,
I have been using N70 for 1 month now. This is what i have observed so far.
Pros:
-not as expensive as other high end nokia phones
-symbian OS (you can instal extra features)
-fast bluetooth 2.0
-3G (for high speed browsing)
-nice design (specialy the Music Edition)
-nice stereo sounds
-good display
Cons:
-slow gallery
-the camera is bad in low light & indoors.. even w/flash.. trust me
-no stop watch and timer
-no moving themes
-no custom screen saver
-only one alarm
-crampy keypad -_- but its not that bad
Comments:
-Buy the Music Edition because it looks better ^_^ no performance boost though but it'l be worth your cash. (it looks better in black housing. 1gb rsdv-mmc and the bundled earphones w/controls and converter for 3.5mm speaker is a must have)
-again.. the camera is bad in low light & indoors.. trust me. so make sure that you use night mode.
-Battery life: for a heavy user like me, it lasts almost a day.
-the alarm clock is not that loud. use a loud ringtone as your alarm sound.
-sometimes its slow in saving the picture you have just taken. mostly when you use the camera sideways.
Overview:
its not realy a bad phone aside from all the cons. it looks class in black & quite small for most of the high end nokia phones. when it comes to applications, the symbian 2nd edition OS can cover it since there are a lot of software available for this phone out there. i still say the camera is a bit dissapointing but im happy with this phone so far ^_^
