Its a long long time before i bought a new celfone i think its already a 7 months since i planning to buy new one because i dont want my old N6230 because of the screen size..my 1st choice is w550i then d600,e900,w810i,N3250 and those celfone i think i already read all the reviews then when im go to buy lst week what an unexpected happen i bought a celfone N70ME that i never read any reviews but now i realize that this is awesome phone to buy..
pros:
gud camera
gud video recording
excellent loudspeaker and music in headset
gud display but not the best
symbian compatibility in old models
radio
3.5mm jack
cons
very poor battery it last only 1day
very small keypad
sometimes it hangs
no image screensaver
slow OS
but overall it was great can someone help me why my battery lasts only 1day...

well,i have this phone abt 2wks ago...for the 1st wk,its great but in the succeeding days,i can't send my text even if i'll just have my balance inquiry...i dont know what went wrong coz it has a full signal...it's just that duh...,i have to text my friends but still unable to send msg...

N70 vs SE W810i
which is better?
I am an owner of both phones and so far I'm both impressed and satisfied with their features. But if your choicing btwn dem check out my review:
CAMERA- w810 has better camera-autofocus w/c captures better in the dark where N70 fails, w810 camera light (led) is very bright, n70 not much. n70 20x zoom, but pictures are very crappy when you zoom at 8-20x, w810i 4x zoom but looks like the 8x zoom of n70.
VIDEO- n70 wins 15 frames per second, mp4 very smooth, eats 4mb per second. w810i only 10fps, 3g, pixelated ->sad part of SE
PICTURE/gallery - I go for n70 very smooth pic scroll. w810 is quite slow especially when zooming d pics and editing. I love n70 when it comes to picture editing you have more options compared to w810. But if your satisfied with just capturing pics, w810 is ok
DISPLAY- larger screen on n70. w810i medium but clearer than n70
MP3- n70 searches fast since you can type d title of the song u like. w810 you need to scroll like an ipod. Quality-wise w810 wins. It also has an equalizer u can play with; n70 does not have
Headset. n70 nokia has poor headset why? it easily wears off. I have replaced mine for 3 times. And the worst it easily detaches becoz the teeth is very shallow so a little push it gets removed. Se w810 headset is good. Better bass but not as loud as nokia hedset. Atachment is strong becoz of deep teeth. you can jog and gym with your w810i better. And wats really good you can replace the hedset becoz of the availble 3.5 jack
Loudspeakers. N70 is very loud 10/10 which is good if ur after a loud-sounding mp3 player.compared to w810i 9-8/10 only but still ok. very loud is deftening
Radio- n70 d usual nokia style. w810i you'l love the auto channeling. one press it gets all available channels and saves it for you.you dont have to manually scroll unlike n70. tenx SE
MMC- n70 gives 64 mb card w.c can b upgraded up to 1 gig, w810i has 512mb w/c can handle up to 2-4 gigs. w810i saves you money here
Themes- n70 is boring, w810i keeps me excited becoz of animated themes. you'll want to keep on shifting themes most often.very fun.
Texing- same. although i can text better and faster on w810i. n70 has cramed keypads i often press the side menu button.
Games/Apps- n70 wins here. You can install good games, programs and applications wc are very accessible in the net. w810 poor available games and apps. can install only jave, i hate dis part. But if you don't like placing too much programs. w810 wud b ok. Saves you from people who wants to play w ur phone hehe
Others-> n70 can play almost all file types. w810i only midi,mp3, 3g. -> another sad part of SE
Bluetut/Ir- n70 no Ir. w810 has both. Blutut of both is fsst. (v3x has d worst.soooo slow. peace!)
Battery. Go for w810i if your after dis. has 350 hrs unlike n70 265h.more fun with Sony
Weight- ders a 50g difference on d two. but not a big deal is it? w810 will fit better in your pocket since it is smaller and not bulky
Overall-
N70- wins on -> Video, gallery scrolling, loudspeaker, games/apps, others (file types)
W810i wins on -> Camera, mp3,radio, headset, texting, Infrared, themes, MMC 512mb, batt life, weight

To all pipol who want to buy a cheaper new Nseries phone, I advise u to go for N71 instead of N70. N71 has the latest Symbian OS 9.1 compared to N70's OS 8.1. The two are almost the same only N71's software is much more stable. All features in N70 can be found in N71 and some added features as well. As with the hardware, N71 has a larger screen display and higher resolution than N70. Also, N71 is as affordable as N70.

hey guys, have you tried playing a 3gp using your N70 ME? coz i upload a 3gp files but real player error appear unsupported file format. have you tried this? thanks

this blog is for those who does not beleives in the capability of N70 oor N70ME.
Beleive me guys, i have been using this phone for a month and i havent got any problem with it.Its an excellent phone to hang out with and so its network.

why is my n70 signal not that strong compare to K750i? using same network on both phones. N70-3bars while K750i-Full bar and its more stable compare to N70. is it normal or my N70 got probelm?

What do you mean by powerful? If you really want a powerful platform, that would be windows mobile OS, not the unstable Symbian OS.
Sorry guys, as a prev owner of Nseries phone from N70 - 90 one thing is common. OS/UI is UNSTABLE, lacks fault tolerant unlike any other platform, UI is sluggish although i like the layout. So, why pay such a premium for a phone? Then, release another series with just one or two feats added, Nokia must address first the stability issues of this first Nseries phone. Nokia is plainly fooling those impulsive buyers, Nak ng pateng magpapalit lang ng housing o appearance tapos mag ads "The ALL-NEW" s**T!

to the person didn't like the Nokia N70 or N70 ME..ok for you this phone is not GOOD..hmmm..its wrong guys.. y? coz i have it almost 2 months and its N70 ME.i have no prob.on the signals, and never hung up.. Guys, N70 mE is GREAT almost GREAT.. i statisfied.N70 is so powerful.. 2nd cam is great when the light is ok.. the memory is good.. you can download a lot of application, games and etc to this phone..
i just want to say PLEASE STOP telling to us the N70 is not great.. OK...Thanks

Just wait for N95. I think the updated Symbian OS will be more stable than the prev Nsucks!
But still, i doubt the design of Symbian OS it does'nt manage the phones resources well...There is one brand i'm considering now, as a worthy replacement for my ailing Nsuck(70), the under rated ASUS....V80 model. i'm really amaze by how responsive the OS/UI. For only P10,600 you got a complete multimedia phone less the 3G feat. Never had any glitches, freez or goes off suddenly. Thanks for ASUStek reputation for design/performace/realiability. ASUStek is one of the leading brand in producing high-performance/quality computer hardware products.

I get this phone last week and I think that I am very soory now. It is a big exaggeration about this phone. Now I have to use ie but please could somone more experience tell me if I can enlarge a character of writing. I look everywhere and i am unable to find such a faction. Thanks.

Hi friends i have took " Nokia N70m " which is the latest model and my opinion is to take " Nokia N70m " and also it is the new Music Phone. Thanks for sharing my feelings and check once " Nokia N70m " whn u go to buy " Nseries "

I know one..ASUStek V80 it has customizable equalizer to both mp3 player & fm radio! how is that? For only PhP10,600 + 1,100 for 1gig mini-sd...Nokia's OS/UI dept. sucks!

I bought my N70 ME about 2 weeks ago..
the batt doesnt even last me throughout the day when i only sms..
is that common?

I wanted to buy myself an N70 for the new year and when i arrived to purchase one. The retailer was issuing a warning,a written one saying that 60 % to 70% of Nokia phones especially N series are defective and it is our duty to report it to you since we cannot stop selling them because people want Nokia.She also mentionned that nokia is wasting money on adds and not doing anything about the phones themselves.Thanks to the N series the great market for Nokia has made 2006 Motorola the undisputed leader in many countries but Nokia sales still figure high since people are buying phones unknowingly on the inersia of Reputation which Nokia once had.

Well i know wround 45 people in my immediate vicinity who own such phone and i can say
this phone is for looks only nothing more.If you do more than make calls it freezes and crashes and the speed, my grandmother walks faster than the applications opens.Can't put 2 gb card either.Most of the people i know are either switiching to SE or Motorola.For that price i would suggest you get a communicator instead.

yes it has..you can also buy the ad-41 adapter for you to plug a pc speaker on it..

Hi guys... Does the N70 has Speakers outside? SO u can play music w/o any headphones on it..??
